However, when you do surveys, white kids are doing drugs at an equal rate, and they are a much bigger part of the population. So, why are the prisons full of black and brown kids? It is easier to arrest them. It is easier to convict them. They don't get as good of attorneys. And, frankly, they live in the city in a much more collected fashion than in the suburbs, and so the police are patrolling the city more. But it is unfair. The war on drugs has had a racial outcome, unintentionally, but it has a racial outcome. And I want to try to fix it."

I speculate that outside of his core constituency, even some RATS want an adult (i.e. a white male) back in charge. Even they can’t deny amateur hour is going on anymore. There’s NOTHING that the current clown touches that doesn’t turn to sh*t; it can’t be denied or ignored anymore.
The only winner in all this is Jimmy Carter; he isn’t the worst POTUS of all time anymore...

O’Malley, I speculated years ago he could be the rat nominee, if it’s not Hillary, I’d bet it’s him, with a Latina Lesbian running mate (the Sheriff of Dallas County Texas is one of those).
Primary tonight for his successor in Maryland, Anthony Brown (the next Deval Patrick?) favored to win the rat primary, Larry Hogan Jr., the GOP primary.
I think Warren is honestly too ugly to win, Hillary is the belle of the rats 2016 POTUS ball, and that’s sad.

I agree with you, but the biggest gaffe that Rand is making using unproven surveys on drug use. These surveys that Rand alludes to are SELF professed. They aren’t surveys based on actual test findings. What is found by actual tests is that drug users will frequently lie about their usage.

I don’t care about the racial outcome. Many of those arrested are mostly harmless people who wanted to get a buzz. They’re not threats to society.

I hope you realize that the harmless people with a clean record trying to get a buzz holding a few dime bags won’t get jailtime, right? The guy with a gun, stolen property and a record longer than his arm gets jail time for the dime bag, not a 16 year-old kid caught up in a sting getting pinched for the first time.
I agree that the young kids just trying to kill their brain cells are not much of a threat, other than to the future social services budget but I disagree that most of the people in jail are there for possession of a few joints.
Hey, if this is the nominal reason that gets them to shut down the WOD and roll back the infringements on our civil rights, I don’t mind a little political race baiting.
Finally some used for a good cause.
