House Speaker John Boehner could file a lawsuit against President Barack Obama in days, in an attempt to challenge the administration's heavy use of executive actions to further its agenda.
Roll Call's Daniel Newhause reports Boehner told House Republicans during a closed-door meeting on Tuesday he could have an announcement in the coming days on whether he will mount the legal challenge. According to the report, he has been "consulting with legal scholars" ahead of his next move.
Boehner's office confirmed the Roll Call story, but declined to comment on whether specific executive actions would be targeted. Any legal action by Boehner would be a significant and somewhat unprecedented challenge to executive power.

My guess is the Supreme Court will throw it out and say “dumbass! Your branch wrote the laws, if you don’t like them repeal them or make them more defined”.
I will believe it when I see it. Unless he went into emergency surgery and had a set implanted, I have my doubts.
Me thinks Boehner does not grasp how little power the House now has and how much power Obama’s executive branch has amassed in the past 5 years. The House has not challenged Obama in the past and has given over much of its power to Obama. A lawsuit is nothing to Obama. Obama controls the apparatus of the Fed gov’t, including the courts.

Derision of Boehner has become so de rigueur here, I doubt if he’d see approval if he managed to part the Potomac.
All he really can do is raise red flags and smoke signals to the greater American public.

Stop blocking the more obvious solution and impeach. A lawsuit could then be a useful side measure.

He is Obama’s worst nightmare, I bet Obama cant sleep at night since Bohner became Speaker, He is making Obama’s life a living hell.
This lawsuit might just remove Obama fro the WH.

Darrell Issa , Mike Rogers and John Boehner all talk the talk, but refuse to walk the walk, - - - - they are not good for America.
They all whine and moan about being stonewalled by the Commie Obama Administration, but NOTHING effective happens, except for the formation of the Benghazi Committee under Trey Gowdy.
The House RINOs had their chance for OVER FOUR YEARS and have done NOTHING, proving that they are not good for America, PERIOD!
It is time to mow down the not good in the House, ASAP!
Suggested actions:
* “Encourage” your Rep in the US House to force Boehner to resign, before August 1, 2014.
* “Encourage” your House Rep in the US House to force do-nothing Chairmen such as Issa and Mike Rogers to resign, before Labor Day, 2014.
* “Encourage” your House Rep in the US House to publicly support Republicans who have proven that they have placed Country before Party.
While the RINOs may get re-elected to the House, we need to have them as far removed from any leadership role as possible.
The RINOs have failed to even slow down the Obamanation of America, even though they held the power of the purse for four years.
If a RINO cannot be voted out of office, then he/she must be relegated to a position subordinate to a fire-in-the-belly Conservative Republican Representative such as Trey Gowdy.
Early Primary voting begins soon after Labor Day in many States.
Most voters have made up their minds about who to vote for by Labor Day: Tick-tock, FReepers, Tick-TOCK!
