House Speaker John Boehner could file a lawsuit against President Barack Obama in days, in an attempt to challenge the administration's heavy use of executive actions to further its agenda.
Roll Call's Daniel Newhause reports Boehner told House Republicans during a closed-door meeting on Tuesday he could have an announcement in the coming days on whether he will mount the legal challenge. According to the report, he has been "consulting with legal scholars" ahead of his next move.
Boehner's office confirmed the Roll Call story, but declined to comment on whether specific executive actions would be targeted. Any legal action by Boehner would be a significant and somewhat unprecedented challenge to executive power.

I support God to support... yes Boehner. Unless you have a better, more credible party at hand to replace Boehner, in which case I will tout the virtues of that person in tandem with asking God to support that person.
But we are under the chastisement of God, and to slap back at the one who is scourging is an infantile reaction.
There is your answer.
Sad times. Here we have one of the most powerful positions in U.S government, the Speaker of the House thinks throwing a doomed to fail lawsuit at it has any meaning?
It’s doomed to fail because the problem is political and the solution needs to be political.
The Speaker has a bully pulpit to — if he would ever use it.
Bovine Satology.
If any of them had the balls of Mice (little, little ones) than they would have already done something.
Whatever
“What has he done for us [conservatives] lately?”
The last specific thing I remember was John telling conservatives, “Get your a**es in line!”.
Of course that’s like commanding cats to do close order drill, then we began wondering who the heck this guy was anyway, so now here we are and ...
Well that’s a reasoned approach so I won’t dispute it. I still think impeachment charges are long overdue and I do not believe the D senators would be able to just cast defend- Obama votes once the charges were pressed forward. But your way is logical.
Or maybe he'll consider starting a dialog to discuss whether or not he'll announce that he's thinking about the possibility of mounting the legal challenge.
I’ve thought for a long time he wasn’t mentally balanced.
Bonehead: “I meant to say I was going to buy a gigantic suit”
I’m sure he’ll mount anything politically detrimental to Obama.
Please elaborate as to why Boehner should not be a target of derision by conservatives. As in: What has he done for us lately?
Boehner does to things for us. He and the rest of the RINOs running the stupid party do things to us.
Issa has brought 4 charges against Lerner
Doj is not following up with criminal investigation
Now it’s time to impeach holder
I doubt this. Whatever he is doing it won’t be good for America or it’s people.
Yawn... wake me when he’s done.
Given Bonehead’s less than sterling leadership abilities, I’m going with not.
I will believe it when I see it—Bony and Obama are good friends.
“Good luck finding an impartial judge.”

I could find one but I’m too busy finding hen’s teeth and frog’s hair.
“Boehner knows its an election year. He has no intention of doing anything effective”
Practicing alcoholic/addicts don’t do effective anyway.
