This is interesting. Maybe we could sell some of our “multicultural elites” on Christian values if we just told them they were Islamic values.
Any scripture can be distorted, but at least the basic Judeo-Christian rules were carved in stone.
Umm, Arabic and Hebrew are closely related languages. This greeting need not be borrowed, as it could instead be drawn from a common stock.
Does Italian "borrow" from French, or are they both derived from Latin, explaining similarities quite well.
Islam still is sitting in a hut with one hand up their rear ends while the other sharpens a blade all the while killing others who do not think like them. They are Tribal Blood cults and they must be treated as such and not called the “Religion of Peace”.
Not necessarily disagreeing, but it's remarkable how much this aligns with similar claims about Catholics being ultimately loyal to the Pope for most of American history.
I have no doubt such Muslims exist. To claim that therefore all moderate Muslims are stealth jihadists is ludicrous.

Calling Islam "the Religion of Peace" is like calling Baltimore "the city that reads" or calling New jersey "the Garden State". The ironic names act as a warning to anyone with a functioning brain, so only democrats are fooled.

While Islam has its writings, its values result in the violence of Muslims against “infidels”.

Compare the behaviour of extreme muslims to extreme Christians.
Extreme Christians spread love, forgive their enemies, pray for those who persecute them, etc.
The extremes are polar opposite. I therefore conclude that islam is of anti-Christ.
Steyn's one smart man... we ARE at war with Islamic beliefs, values and cultures. But NOT necessarily with every individual who happens to have been born muslim. It's an important distinction.
