While many conservatives across the country are still fuming about the Obama/Alinsky race-baiting tactics the Republican Party establishment used to help K-Street corporatist puppet Thad Cochran win the Mississippi U.S. Senate runoff last week, the Magnolia State’s other GOP senator has a different reaction.
It turns out Sen. Roger Wicker finds this whole potential voter-fraud thing funny.
When it questioned Wicker about the raging controversy in his own backyard, The Associated Press said Wicker “responded with a laugh.” Apparently in the GOP establishment’s world, betrayal is a real knee-slapper.
I’m sure the majority of Mississippi Republicans who voted for challenger Chris McDaniel and had their primary stolen from them think this is funnier than a trip to the local Chuckle Hut. “Hey, Roger! Why not throw in a ‘let them eat cake’ while you’re condescendingly at it as well?”
And the elites wonder why the tea party wants to storm the Bastille.
Perhaps this political party is a joke after all, and the joke is on those of us who still believe there’s actually any substantive difference between ruling class Democrats and ruling class Republicans. Former Reagan White House political director Jeffrey Lord told me recently the late Barry Goldwater used to refer to the GOP establishment as “dime store Republicans” because the only difference they offered voters was big government on a cheaper and more efficient scale.
Wicker actually had the chutzpah to describe the Cochran campaign’s Obama/Alinsky race-baiting tactics — which I documented here last week — as “broadening the base.” So now finding at least 1,000 potential cases of voter fraud in one county is “broadening the base.” Maybe we finally know now why the GOP establishment wants amnesty so badly — to “broaden the base.”

What does that mean?
We already know Cochran is (in my opinion) a cockroach, but what does "K-Street" mean and what is a "corporatist puppet?"
K Street is the street in Washington DC where all the lobbyists are apparently. a corporatist puppet is apparently someone whose strings are pulled by those on K Street, i.e. the lobbyists.
Sigh. Wicker.
I see it as shorthand for Fascist. Big Government working with Big Business to destroy the middle class.
I see the Republicans as the enemy. They are every bit as Liberal as the Democrats and they are blocking any hope of a return to limited government.
Mississippi appears to be “target rich” in the war we are fighting.

If there were no corporate income taxes, there would be wouldn’t be much of a need for K Street to begin with.

I've been saying this for a while now.
There's absolutely no reason whatsoever to accept the old any Republican is better than a Democrat
argument.
They are just begging to remain in the minority. I wonder if that’s their purpose, so they can get amnesty while pointing at the rats and conservatives as the fault of it. But I also wonder what they think that will do for them, other than cheap labor. Maybe that’s all they care about.
Maybe they can offer their votes to Wicker in exchange for him planting his foot on the necks of everyone else too.
2018, unfortunately, I called his office last week and he is proud of his support for cochran and the RNSC’s monetary support for cochran and proud of cochran’s victory. I wonder how many of these new voters they reached out for will ever vote for cochran or wicker in a general election? They traded a probable wicker primary vote and definite general election vote for a one-time primary vote for cochran. I will not vote for cochran or wicker ever again for anything, primary or general election.
