Palestinian Authority (PA) Chairman Mahmoud Abbas has called an "emergency meeting" over the news that the bodies of Gilad Sha'ar (16), Naftali Frenkel (16), and Eyal Yifrah (19) have been found in the PA.

"Abbas has convened an urgent meeting of the Palestinian leadership tonight to discuss the latest developments," his spokesman Nabil Abu Rudeina told AFP.

Now just a cotton pickin’ minit here. Let’s be fair. The media never tires of supporting islamo Nazis and mass murderers. It’s what they do, because they have so much in common with them. Did Ezra Pound tire of supporting Mussolini? Did HL Mencken and TS Eliot tire of sympathizing with Nazis? Well, then, this is the MSM’s way of becoming literary giants. So when there’s a really big war, and the IslamoNazis lose, they’ll finally remember that they’re mass murderers and tire of supporting them, but only after a decade in a mental hospital.

/Abbas said if Hamas did this, they (the PA) would cancel their “unity pact”!

You must buy your cars from Joe Isuzu if you believe that...

I’m sorry to say you do appear to have a point. I remember the media started referring to Judea/ Samaria as “ occupied territories” the very next day after Israel ( miraculously, thank The Lord) fought back the islamoNazi attack and finally liberated the areas. Funny they never seemed to call them “ occupied territories” when they were under the control of foreign military forces, whether British or Jordanian. So, by their fruits we can know them. Much of the mass media is in the enemy camp, or at least in the enemy’s employ. Anti-American, anti- Christian, anti- Jewish, anti- liberty, pro- socialist/ communist — all sorts of problems in the mass media (and thru ugh slog do NOT keep their biases confined to the opEd pages)!

Maybe it’s different in the Middle East, but I wouldn’t even hitchhike in my own neighborhood here in the U.S.

I don't know enough about the route they were taking and who uses the roads they were on to really venture a guess. But yeah, hitchhiking in area where militants/terrorists can even get to seems insane.

Here, I guess, is what we really don't know or understand. Did the hitchhiking even have anything to do with it? I mean, if terrorists can even use the road they are on (ie, a public road both Israeli's and Palestinians regularly used), all it would take is someone pulling up, aiming a gun at them, and demanding they get in. In that case this could have happened to any Israeli's who happened to be along side the road - wrong place, wrong time. The other possibility is they were fooled into accepting a ride which might indicate killers who could pass easily as either Israeli's or Palestinian business professionals or something that seemed safe.

From the story I read, it sounded like the Israeli driver picked them up and drove them along his route to wherever he was going, then left them off at a crossroads or some place where their route diverged from his. It sounded like a very strange story, indeed.

Something else to consider here is that -- if the article I read was correct -- this abduction took place in an area of the West Bank that's supposedly controlled by Israel, not the Palestinian Authority.

Concur, this was an Israeli security zone from what I've read.

These are settlers from what I gather, and they are the most hated by the terror/militant groups. It truly does sound unsafe to be hitchhiking at all, but maybe they trusted the fact the cars passing through had already been checked by Israeli security. Maybe a driver that could pass through a checkpoint with the killers hidden away in the car?

The idea that Abbas will cancel the unity pact over this is pie in the sky. It assumes that muslim terrorists are sane.

No his hurried meeting is more likely how to parlay this into increased EU funds for the PA. Its a meeting of rats, not men.

>> Actually, the PA said that this was one of the conditions they put on Hamas for doing the unity pact

Get real! That was a “wink wink nudge nudge” condition just like it has been EVERY DAMN TIME BEFORE NOW.

The Pali vermin LOVE IT!!!! when Hamas or anyone else murders Israelis.

In this particular case, knowing the difference between the Palestinian Authority and Hamas ... I believe that’s the case.

Also there is no love lost between those two groups and the P.A. doesn’t want to be held to account in their own territory where Hamas comes in and does it, thereby getting a “free ride”!

We’ll see soon, though, as soon as Israel catches those guys and identifies them as Hamas! That’s when you’ll see action from the P.A. ... if not sooner.

The unity pact fell apart once before. And there’s a lot of bad blood between them, considering that Hamas took away Gaza from the Palestinian Authority and murdered a lot of their people. I think the Palestinian Authority is just looking for an excuse to dump Hamas.

The IDF should crash their party(emergency meeting) with a couple of Hellfire missiles.

"But seen from an intel POV, I’d say it means the kidnappers could NOT find a safe refuge to hide the kidnapped boys. There is a lot for the Israelis to study and learn from here. My comment is just scratching the surface."

You're definitely on to something. MANY Arabs on the West Bank are completely sick of their "leadership" if that's what we want to call the thugs at Hamas and the PLO. A fantastic recent read on the subject is in Caroline Glick's recent book "Israel, the One-State Solution." Demography, contrary to "Conventional Wisdom," is on the side of the Israelis, and lots of Arabs see the writing on the wall and just want some respect under Israeli law (which the Israelis are MORE THAN happy to provide). There are more and more Arabs leaving the West Bank, because under the PLO there is no future. Some of them have actually immigrated across the green line into Israel, taken citizenship, and joined the Israeli military because they believe it is the best solution. The IDF has little problem finding "colaborators" which used to provide info for money, but more and more provide it because they are sick of the terrorists.

Let me guess - their plan for the meeting is to hand out candy, praise allah, and celebrate the murders.

I was right, wasn’t I...
