What's making US economy a world beater? 5 factors(How about those rising prices and taxes?)

How does the U.S. economy do it?

Europe is floundering. China faces slower growth. Japan is struggling to sustain tentative gains.

Yet the U.S. job market is humming, and the pace of economic growth is steadily rising. Five full years after a devastating recession officially ended, the economy is finally showing the vigor that Americans have long awaited.

Last month, employers added 288,000 jobs and helped reduce the unemployment rate to 6.1 percent, the lowest since September 2008. June capped a five-month stretch of 200,000-plus job gains - the first in nearly 15 years.

After having shrunk at a 2.9 percent annual rate from January through March - largely because of a brutal winter - the U.S. economy is expected to grow at a healthy 3 percent pace the rest of the year.

Here are five reasons the United States is outpacing other major economies:

What's making US economy a world beater? 5 factors

I see more and more beggars here at the different malls and strip malls here in Maryland every day. They usually say something like :
"Out of a job and about to be evicted with three kids. Please help and God bless"

Things are pretty expensive here to be out of a job.

Happy days are here again.

No wonder the immigrants are flocking here, all that $$$ just lying in the street,
We need new immigrants to pick it up since Americans obviously won’t.

The economics paper “Barrons” has an interesting graph this week showing a steady drop in employment of men age 25 to 54 from 1954 to 2014, from 97% to 88%.

the economy is ‘humming’??

they announced last week we have 118m FULL-TIME jobs

in 2007, we had 155m

that’s a 24% drop in full-time jobs

24%

there isn’t anything ‘good’ about this economy

Those numbers are amazingly disastrous. And I wonder what the increase of possible workers was. I am guessing that younger people getting out of high school and college was more than the number of people retiring. Especially as it seems that many are putting retirement off a few more years to weather this economy.

It was over 110 today in Phoenix and I saw beggars on all 4 corners today at a few different intersections... You cant hardly stop at any convenience store without being asked for change any time of the day or night. One old guy I saw today was wobbling around, looking like he was going to pass out. In a short 5 mile trip over 20 of them out at intersections though... I thought the about same thing about the 3rd intersection, yeah it sure looks like our economy has recovered...
