Trey Gowdy Wants to Defund Obama’s Vacations, And He’s 100% Right
Conservative Tribune ^

Posted on 07/21/2014 7:38:12 PM PDT by TigerClaws

t seems like just about every week Trey Gowdy is in the news as he fights the good fight against Obama and the liberals.

He’s been relentless going after the administration on Benghazi and other scandals, and calling out Democrats like Nancy Pelosi on their “mind-numbing” stupidity. Gowdy has also announced support for a lawsuit against Obama for failing to do his basic executive duties.

He’s now got another suggestion to rein in this reckless administration: Defund Obama’s vacations as a punishment for executive overreach. Awesome.

Nah, bad idea. The more he’s in town, the more of your rights he can violate. As far as I’m concerned, he should vacation 24/7/365.

How ‘bout we defund the bastard’s “fundraising” trips. The idiot shouldn’t be using taxpayer dollars to raise money for the communist DemocRATS. He’s got a phone and a pen for that.

He’s schooling the nation.

Boehner refuses to defund Obama, who has just signed an executive order establishing a new civil rights law and carved out another exemption in Obamacare.

The rule of law lies in tatters as Boehner sits on his thumbs.

Love his dogs names, Judge, Jury and Bailiff.

I like this guy's sense of humor, it really made me laugh.

Reminded me of many years ago, when I was young and silly and working as a planner/civil engineer designing many hundreds (thousands?) of home sites.
On one particular hillside, there was a set of three short-cul-de sacs I was designing, and when it came time to submit the "Tentative Map" to the county for approval, it was approved after processing, except for the street names I had chosen...

District Court.
Appellate Court.
Supreme Court.

Some county officials and bureaucrats have no sense of humor.

All Presidents and their family should vacation on their own dime. When did this all get started that taxpayers are stuck paying for this luxury?

Is there a limit to how many days a President can take off?

I love his fiery rhetoric, but has he actually accomplished anything? (no snark, just a real question)

He's my Rep and I share your sentiments. My response to your question would be that he has accomplished more to encourage Constitutional conservatism and resisting the Big Lie than this U.S.House has accomplished collectively as a body.

Not much good is getting past the roadblock named Boehner and nothing at all good is getting past Senator Reid.

I believe all of us know our own mind alright, but Trey Gowdy inspires- makes us want to stand up and cheer, to go get ‘em. That is something we haven’t known for a long time.

He has the best natural gift of voice/sound/cadence of anyone in three branches of government and in politics today, along with a cut to the chase mind set- perfect for an attorney or advocate of any kind.

I have no idea if he is perfect, but Trey and Senator Jeff Sessions and Cruz are my personal favorites.

That is my understanding also.

Although, if nobama can call for “emergency” spending, should “emergency” cutting be off the table.

Trey is posturing somewhat. And he knows that. Put another way, he’s hoping folks will WAKE UP and take a hard look at what nobama is doing.

Trey has balls, for lack of a better term.

He’s willing to take the fight to the Democrats.

Cruz is as well.

Need to push the RINOs out and let guys like Trey run the show.

She doesn’t need fancy clothes. She is a tranny named Michail and Michael LaVaughn seems to have disappeared when Mooch appeared. Check it out - old news though.

Ping Please! Thank you.

Sorry, I'm a little confused by your request.

If you are asking me to ping the Trey Gowdy list, that was done here.

If you're asking to be added to the ping list, you are already a member.

Anything else I can do :)
