NYT: Chamber Of Commerce Will Support Dem Mary Landrieu

The U.S. Chamber of Commerce is reportedly throwing support behind Sen. Mary Landrieu (D-LA), according to the group's national political director, Rob Engstrom.

Engstrom told the audience at a Committee of 100 meeting that the group would support Landrieu in her fight to win re-election, according to The New York Times' Joe Nocera.

Chamber of Commerce spokeswoman Blair Latoff Holmes told TPM in an email on Monday "no decisions have been made in the LA Senate race."

Landrieu's major Republican challenger is Rep. Bill Cassidy (R-LA).

A U.S. Chamber of Commerce scorecard said Landrieu votes for pro-business legislation more often than Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX), according to The Wall Street Journal.

In previous elections, the Chamber has spent money on television ads supporting Landrieu's campaign. In April, the Chamber's senior political strategist, Scott Reed, said it was too early to make a decision on whether they would support Landrieu or not.

See. The Chamber of Commerce is not a Capitalist organization. It is a crony organization.

“....votes for pro-business legislation more often than Sen. Ted Cruz”

These days “pro-business” means more regulation, taxes, and amnesty: Cronyism.

The US Chamber of Commerce is a front organization for the GOP-e. Not surprising they are supporting Landrieu.

And the first vote she’ll cast after she’s re-elected is for Harry Reid for Majority leader..

How many illegal alien voters did the CoC promise her? Enough to get re-elected apparently. Throw in some democrat voter fraud, and the plantation vote, and it's a sealed deal.

Maybe taxing businesses more and raising the minimum wage wouldn’t be so bad after all.

Folllowing CW-II, there will be so many progressives lined up for the guillotine, and so little guillotine resources.

We should immediately start mass production of the units.

We can line up hundreds of them in a row....actuated by remote control.

After all, we want to mimimize (their) CO2 production as fast as possible.

This is the living embodiment of the parable of the Scorpion and the Frog. The COC is cozying up to the very people who will, without warning, inflict the mortal blow against them.

I’m having a hard time GAS.

RE :”This is the living embodiment of the parable of the Scorpion and the Frog. The COC is cozening up to the very people who will, without warning, inflict the mortal blow against them.”

Paul Ryan gunning up for 2016 came out with his ‘Plan for the poor’ and went on a Sunday morning show (NBC) to pitch it, its got Chamber Of Commerce (C of C) written all over it.

Naturally no employer mandates or taxes on businesses, well maybe tax cuts on them, but increases EITC which for all practical purposes makes us individual gtax payers pay lower income employees salaries instead of them(employers). The Chamber LOVES all his pitches as if they wrote them and I bet they told Romney to nominate him.

Of course its all under ‘helping job creators’

And naturally Ryan is for amnesty.

My only point is that Paul Ryan is a Chamber creature, and the Chamber owns him, and his goofy grin on camera annoys me, he just looks stupid.

Important reminder: the US Chamber of Commerce is NOT a patriotic organization, and because most of its leadership is from multinational corporations, in effect they are a hostile foreign power lobbying organization.

That some of the RINO Republican leadership sees the Chamber of Commerce as its real constituency, instead of the voters who elected them, indicates that they, too, are in effect, agents of foreign powers.

For this reason, they should be denied public office as much as those Democrats who belong to the Socialist International.

The “GOP-E” supports the certain GOP runoff opponent, Congressman Cassidy.

As for the COC, screw them.
