The empirical evidence of an airborne Ebola Strain is overwhelming

Hat Tip GWP - Patrick Sawyer was the American businessman, who contracted Ebola while working in Liberia, then collapsed after he got off a plane to Nigeria and died July 25. He was the first patient in Nigeria with the Ebola virus. The Nigerian authorities have refused to release the names of other passengers on the plane with Mr. Sawyer, or notify the media of their status.

But the variant was no longer such a lethal weapon. I’ve read the old literature and that doesn’t mean JACK today with what we’re experiencing. Look at the numbers and the instances of where and how infection occurred and you can plainly see that an airborne variant is not what we’re dealing with at this point in time.

Simple numbers and patterns easily tell the story. Compare this to Influenza and you’ll quickly see how your suppositions are without merit.

The CDC is now warning airlines against pressure washing or using compressed air in cleaning the planes.

You are accusing the professionals who have worked in full containment biohazard suits for their whole professional lives with being sloppy.

the US docs and Doctors without Borders pros said they took every precaution but they still got it.

your bravado is heartwarming, why not trip down to Georgia and stop by the CDC and visit the good Doctor Brantlys room without a level 4 biohazard suit.

First thing you would notice is that YOU would be the only one in the isolation room without a full containment suit on.

So why would all these experts at the CDC be waring level 4 biohazard suits if there was no risk of airborne contamination? Why would you be the only one there breathing the good doctors room air without a respirator if there was no chance of airborne transmission.

You cannot know what they have not told you.

But if you’re feeling lucky give it a go.

There are different levels of biohazard gear and VERY different degrees of adherence to safety procedures between field and lab. Published photos of actual suits used in tents and outdoor holding pens DO NOT show "full containment biohazard suits" -- they show layered garments with varying degrees of protection. I have seen missing masks and eye coverage.

Dressing down and decontamination is one of the most dangerous phases of the whole operation. Especially when it is hot as hades and the medical personnel have lost a lot of fluids and can't wait to get out of the suit.

Considering the infections reported to date with the given infection vectors I have no doubt the “truth” is being reported to the point that this is not currently an airborne issue that will doom the entire human race.

Look at the numbers that have been reported and you cannot seriously for a moment believe that this is actually an airborne virus that is currently spreading from host to host.

Use your head. Examine the numbers and use simple reason with comparisons to viruses like the influenza and it isn't difficult to see that the hysteria being spread on threads like this are absurd.

Now, that being said, if a variant became communicable simply by aspiration from an infected individual and held anywhere near the same mortality rate as what we've seen with typical Ebola “type” hemorrhagic infections, that would be a different story altogether, but the spread patterns and infection rates don't support that hypothesis at this time.

Note that Bubonic Plague killed a third of Europe and was principally spread by fleas. However, the really scary and highly contagious variant was Pneumonic Plague. It spread easily and killed quickly. The bad diseases are at their worst when they go airborne.

Read The Return of the Black Death by Susan Scott and Christopher Duncan and you'll change your mind about rats and fleas causing the European plague of 1347 to 1666. It was airborne.

Thanks for the clarification on the source of the vaccine. Only got to hear part of the broadcast so... I still think it’s interesting about the source though since people who have anything to do with tobacco in any form are treated worse than lepers.
