It damn well better be severe. And if a Republican becomes President they better clean out the justice department with a fire hose and lots of disinfectant.

Wait!!! Does this mean that these folks will lose their homes, cars, toys, treasures, kids education, families, friends, vacations and self worth?? Okay, good.

Heck, they can always count on shovel ready jobs and dinning at nearby dumpsters.

Well, I am not completely heartless, so I hope many of these personal tragedies will be documented on video — I want to see them cry.

Frankly, I have far more empathy for a roadkill than I could ever have for these traitors to our country.

That's a common practice, goes back decades. Bush did too. I looked it up.

Would you share your source? I recall that when Clinton fired all 93 US attorneys, it was a first, and a pre-emptive step because he was bringing a new level of corruption to the White House and already had some then-current budding issues already being looked at by existing DOJ lawyers.

Not saying I'm right, but I'd be interested in your sources.

I’ve been invited to dinners by vendors in the financial sector; the restaurants existed on expense accounts. Years later, as those expense accounts were axed by the firms (along with many employees over 50 years old), those restaurants must be either selling $5 specials or simply closed.

Use the Nominations Search Tool at the US Library of Congress to compare ...

My list doesn't include earlier Congresses, but the website allows searching back to the 100th Congress. Use the search phrase "United States Attorney" (exact match). 26 confirmations in the 100th Congress, for example.

If a Republican did it, it would be treated as a heinous crime

Didn’t the same thing happen in 1994?

I clearly remember CNN running a sob story about a Democratic staffer who was in the process of losing his job. Seems he had been working for a Congressman for several years and was now losing his job because the Republicans had won the district. Normal worries about paying bills and sending his kids to college.

Then came the real revelation. His Congressman boss had been in office just two years; he had lost his first re-election bid. Yet the office staffer had been there for over a decade. How? Well it seems as long as the political party continues to win the various district/state races the supporting staff remains.

And that folks is the real story behind who has the whip hand inside the beltway. It isn’t the smiley faces we send - it is the professional political staff who ensures their well being before anything else. Let’s force our elected congress critters to replace their “professional support staff” every time the name on the door is changed!

I was looking for a gif that showed a lib with a shocked look and then crying but was unable find one. Bad fit I know, but I was already committed so I posted her.

> That’s because many lobbying firms are full-up with Democrats.

That’s obvious.

Course, I'm just a really, really good person----a really tolerant and compassionate conservative---but I think we should aid Harry Reid in the transition from Leader to Loser.

Let's give Harry a brand new office ....in the Capitol's sub-basement, next to the furnace. Harry'll just love his brand-new cardboard desk (some assembly required).

Although I hear phone service isn't hooked up down there yet. Too bad. Harry can always use smoke signals (from the handy furnace) to communicate.

And give 'ol Harry a comfortable desk chair---complete w/ comfy head and foot rests.......and tell him not to worry about all those silly electrical switches lying around.

Harry's new chair....with our compliments.
