Could be worse.
“How To Get Away With Multiple Gay Sex Scenes” could have been the lead-in.

Keep paying the liberal tithe folks. Hollywood appreciates the support. DNC does too.

And you can’t file this under...”parents should pay more attention” BS. This happened 8 seconds after. Shameful but not surprising. Buy the Charlie Brown video. We did.

Scandal sex scene airs right after Its the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown, [on ABC]
I suspect a lot of the audience for 'The Great Pumpkin' is adults like me who used to watch it as kids, when the sponsor was Dolly Madison. Not as good as "A Charlie Brown Christmas" but still some classic scenes - Charlie Brown gets a bag of rocks (some mean parents in that neighborhood), Linus and Sally spend the evening in a pumpkin patch, and Snoopy works his way through No-Mans Land back to the Allied lines, train whistle blowing in the distance =).

Yeah, I had to scramble with the off button on the remote.
There was little to no warning - “Up next, Scandal”, then the scene.

ABC will no doubt pretend that this is an accident.
They have been planning that transition for weeks.

I remember 24 years ago when there was a nice DISNEY commercial for some kid movie then at the theater. It then went right into an advertizement for BLAZE, a rather steamy movie along with steamy stripper scenes in the commercial.

I gave up on that show about the third time some ugly old bear called some other ugly old bear their “husband.”

So kids got to see something rising out of the pumpkin patch and it wasn’t the Great Pumpkin?

That’s the thing; TV channels used to air commercials between the shows. That would give parents time to turn the TV off. Now they don’t anymore.

I’m not at all surprised. No ads for ED remedies are supposed to air during family viewing time, yet they are shown on every NFL game.

I just wanted to note that ABC is owned by Disney.
So, "Disney airs sex scene after 'It's the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown'."
