They’re all frauds. In it for the money and nothing else.
“The wise thing to do is to remain in the party and try to retake it for conservatism from within.”
While that may be conventional wisdom, it may be time to consider other options. The limo Repubs seem to squash all challengers. They are fully entrenched and fully compromised. They seem to have relegated the Tea Party to outside observer status. They are not welcome in the club. So we’ll get Jebbush vs. the Tea Party rather than Jebbush vs. Clinton or Warren or whatever. The repubs/conservatives are fractionalized, and in-fighting once again puts a stinking dem in the white house (can’t seem to capitalize that while O is squatting there).
And my hypothetical is purely an example based on what the drive-by media is trying to force-feed us as the ONLY possible Repub candidate.
Republicans and Libertarians are slow to learn...
And have not “got it” that voting is totally a fraud.. not in every place, merely in MOST PLACES..
It’s difficult if not impossible to even be a (viable) candidate unless your on some “combine”.. i.e. machine..
And refuse to admit what the 2nd amendment IS FOR...
It’s there to enable REVOLT!... by non cowards..
Four years ago was 2010 and the huge GOP sweep. Republicans won based on voter outrage over ObamaCare, spending, and a multitude of other issues. Republicans made a big deal out of reading the Constitution on the House floor after their victory.
They lied.
They’ve protected and expanded that which they promised to fight. The GOP has broken its contract with Republican voters and none of us have a duty to stand by them by virtue of the R after their names.
Yeah. Vote for those who have a conservative record. The rest, try to primary and if that fails, turn your back on them.
If you vote straight ticket, odds are that YOU are part of the problem as well.
One of these things is different from the other.
When Levin explains something, he tends to explain it completely, honestly, with sufficient reason and detail such that the listener is not left with questions of his main point or his motives for the telling.
Mr. Beck leaves the listener always, always, always, questioning his motives for the telling, and with only a clue toward the main point. And while you're waiting for a conclusion, here, buy this ten-year-old fruitcake and a raffle ticket for a chance to join my cult.
What would Cruz do?
The time between primary and election, or convention and election are the only times anyone should be siding with the GOP. That’s the way Mark Levin seems to roll along with his opinions on the show as well.
I know Beck was collecting money for Teddy bears of young burglars, but how many did he invite to his home for a play date?
He’s a big supporter of the Huntsman’s Sr and Jr. They are definitely not conservative, but they are Mormons and I guess that’s why he is such a big supporter.
And, Huntsman Sr’s recent attack on Sen Mike Lee fully exposed Huntsman for the liberal that he (truly) is. Huntsman is as progressive as any that Beck EVER warned about....yet, he is Beck’s mentor.
Huntsman and Beck are the embarrassments....not Sen Lee.
I guess you could call me a RRINO Registered Republican in Name Only. I remain registered as one of these creatures to attempt to influence primary elections and to vote in local elections as the local Republicans in my area still act conservative for the most part. I have come to detest Republicans as much as Democrats because of the evolution of the unitparty that is running the country into the ground.
If asked I am a conservative and independent as in the general election I have long since given up on the Republicans. If there is a conservative Republican in the general election they get my vote, if they are the typical riff-raff liberal fool the Republicans trot out they have to win without my vote or support.
IMHO the Republican party must die quickly and be replaced by a 2nd opposition party to the liberal junta running the country now.
Actually I recall that Levin didn't criticize Romney (much if at all) during the GOP2012 primary or the general election, but once the election was over Levin suddenly was talking like he opposed him.
Rush too.
It was even more bizarre in 2008, when this forum went from "No Rudy McRomney" in the primaries to "Nobody BUT Rudy McRomney" after the primaries -- a bunch of Mitt Romney cheerleaders came out of the woodwork and practically begged McCain to put Romney on the ticket (thankfully, he didn't).
Maybe McQueeg should’ve chosen Willard and stopped with any pretense of being anything more than Zero’s ringer. It would’ve preserved Palin’s viability and kept her free of his taint.
True, in hindsight, it might have been better if they had both gone down with the ship in 2008 during Obamamania. It would have also likely weakened Romney's chances of being nominated in his own right in 2012, since I doubt he'd be any "help" to McCain on the ticket. (Maybe he could claim he helped McCain carry Utah!)
But I was just floored that freepers were vehemently against Romney in the 2008 primary, then fell in love with him as the ideal veep choice. Puke.
