He can and will do a LOT of damage in the remaining time. Once the laws and statutes are on the books, it’s near impossible to get them off, amend or reverse them. Congress is neutered and useless anymore. 0bummerCare will never be reversed or repealed.

Is someone making a handgun that uses this ammunition? Lots of people: .223 handgun
3 of the 4 pictures there look more like machine pistols than handguns. Scary looking enough to be illegal in about 40 states.

I own a .22 magnum and it will do the same damage as other rounds around the .22 gauge.
Shoot them in the head or heart and believe me, they will die just like if you shot them with a .44 mag.

The BATFE “proposal” doesn’t meet legal scrutiny of what constitutes an AP rifle round fired out of a “handgun”. They know as well as everyone else that the M855 is not “armored piercing,” and that because it may be fired out of a “AR Pistol” does not gives them justification to ban a very common the centerfire rifle round.
