Generally, we eschew fantasies imagining what various people would say in favor of analysis of what they actually have said. But Jennifer Rubins Washington Post column laying out a scenario for a presidential debate between Scott Walker and Hillary Clinton is just too much fun to ignore. Read the whole thing, but here is an opening excerpt: http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/right-turn/wp/2015/03/15/what-would-walker-vs-clinton-be-like/
Out walks Clinton and Walker. They shake hands and Walker offers his arm as they walk over to the podiums. The image of a boy scout walking a senior citizen across the street comes to mind. Throughout the debate, she calls him Scott; he calls her Mrs. Clinton. She really is old enough to be his mother. Whenever she talks about the 1990s, his team shoots out e-mails to the media reminding the press that in the 1990s, he was younger than Chelsea is now, but he didnt get a six-figure deal from a TV network for doing nothing. Its the opposite of 2008, when Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) looked grandfatherly and harried in comparison to then-junior Sen. Barack Obama.
He talks about having to earn everything hes gotten. Nope, he doesnt have a famous name or rich friends or Ivy League degrees. ~snip~
She is condescending (Well, Ive been all over the world. . . I know from my talks with the prime minister. . . Scott, you just dont know what its like to. . . ). He is cheery but tough. (Well, its not the miles or the connections but the judgment and the credibility. . . Im sorry, Mrs. Clinton, but its you who doesnt understand real America. When was the last time you drove to the market or shopped for discounts at Kohls?)

FReep Mail me if you want on, or off, this Wisconsin interest ping list.
Can't do that. It would just give her another Rick Lazio moment to exploit.

In any debate or situation involving the news media, HRC will get nothing but softball questions, and the GOP candidate, whoever it is, will be subject to intense questioning. Same as always.
I don’t bother imaging that...
I’m looking beyond the debates between Ted Cruz and whomever to the Cruz administration for the next 8 years...
This brings up issues of who will be asking questions in debates. Will the likes of Candy Crowley be giving an assist to Hillary or other Democrat??? Can we have some semblance of a fair and balanced debate???
Posted on Facebook in the Draft Scott Walker group.
Clinton would nail him on specifics, Walker is good at making vague sound inspiring, but at the end of the day it’s still vague. Those two... basically Baba Yaga vs the Pink Panther.
Reads like an endorsement from Jennifer Rubin.
The RNC said they will not allow that in the next election.
I’ll pass..........
On the GOP side, six of nine scheduled “debates” will be controlled by the leftist media, and the ones by Fox seem to me to be slanted left as well.
Who was the last guy on the Right to do his homework and knew what he and the other side was really all about?
IMO, the last good guy to do that was Reagan. Few like him before or since.
My thoughts exactly. Rick Lazio was pictured as about to “hit the girl”, and the optics never disappeared.
Herself, Madame Benghazi, the Cold & Joyless, is best left to the handlers to make the walk to the podium. Also, the earpiece has to be both well concealed, and assured of faultless operation.
No teleprompter out there for Herself, and the questions may have a turn to them that Herself cannot possibly recall the answer to - are you reminded of all the “I don’t remember” statements of years past?
“What difference, at this point, does it make?”
Hillary only wants the title of , First Woman President ,nothing else
Wall to walk cackling.
By cankles.
Cankles cackling.
That’s all anyone will remember from the debate.
Without unbiased moderators, why bother watching?
I’m imagining the Cruz/Clinton debates myself.
“What difference does it make!”
