Translation: Nothing has changed, including our willingness to do business in Indiana, but here’s some rhetoric for gay-rights activists in hopes that they won’t hassle us. It’s a nothingburger in practice but the fact that NASCAR felt obliged to dish it up goes to show how even groups closely identified with red-state culture now feel obliged to stay on the right side, i.e. the left side, of gay issues. The culture is sinking to new lows and everyone is held hostage to PC.

I can’t figure out why all this furor is being directed at Indiana when the same basic statute is in federal law...signed by Bill Clinton no less and passed almost unanimously by a Democrat controlled Congress. A very similar statute was enacted in Illinois with then State Senator Barrack Obama voting for it...yet no blow back on that. Obviously facts don’t matter to the media. Is this a media and gay vendetta against Governor Mike Pense? It seems like the LGBT group is just wildly indignant about everything not going their way.
