She fired the veteran prosecutors.

Mrs. Mosby and her husband Nick have made it known they intended to racialize the State Attorney’s office. Lead Baltimore prosecutor, Marilyn Mosby (35), took over the Baltimore State Attorney’s Office in January. Upon taking office, Mosby “purged” the office of several veteran prosecutors – STORY HERE –

Also: […] The changes were announced during a brief meeting with more than 300 employees Wednesday morning at police headquarters. Mosby said the new office structure was based in part on ideas from prosecutors’ offices in New York, Los Angeles and Atlanta. – STORY HERE –

Mosby campaigned by using racial division as a wedge issue and was openly using her antagonistic views toward police as a tool to gain political power:

Like Alan Dershowitz said, if they threaten to riot if there is an acquittal when an acquittal is warranted, you acquit anyway and then deal with the riot.

There is no way I have ever gotten a criminal charge within 24 hours after taking over all the reports and evidence to a prosecutor. A prosecutor who is thorough needs several days to sift through hundreds of pages of reports. They usually want to interview some of the witnesses themselves, in person, and they have to sift through all of the evidence, piece by piece, and they have to wait for some of the forensics evidence to conclude, to come back and that’s why I say on a minimum, three to four days. She just got this case yesterday.

Gray was injured almost four weeks ago and died three weeks ago. The investigation into his injury and subsequent death have been going on for that whole period. Is Sheriff Clarke suggesting that he couldn't make a case for prosecution in four weeks?

sure. ...and in the end, riot or not, you have secured the black vote for a lifetime, maybe generations.

...but to go this far, the left must really be concerned about a black “awakening”. I see hope.

The Baltimore prosecutor’s allegations were so bad ...

How bad were they?

She even lost Geraldo.

[Geraldo was accusing her of massive overcharging on FoxNews this morning.]

Honestly I wish the right would take notice of the awakening and capitalize on it.

The incident happened April 12th. That’s about two weeks not four. She only received the police report the day before. She didn’t even take time to make sure everything was consistent with what her investigators had. Clarke is not the only one that was surprised she decided to charge so quickly. Other veteran prosecutors said you don’t make a case like this so quickly. We don’t even know if the investigated Freddie’s health history.

It sounds like the illegal arrest is bogus. The knife was not legal in the City of Baltimore. This woman did not investigate the case properly. She fired all the veteran prosecutors who could have helped her and put her own people in.

Her investigator's reporter-boyfriend is the one who broke the story about the witness changing his story. This case stinks.

“She even lost Geraldo.”

Now that’s saying a lot. I even thought Juan Williams seemed sympathetic to the railroaded police.

Alan Dershowitz is certainly no legal neophyte not that it makes any difference to the FR Friends of Mumia society.

She's married to a city councilman. If she has a boyfriend too then better alert the National Enquirer.

These people must not think past the end of their noses...

They are pouring gas on powder keg...

police can’t police...

criminals have no fear...

When these cops walk, the city is going to explode...

I would suggest that it is their INTENT to have the city go up in smoke.

The increased drama of an exoneration..a series of not guilty verdicts..may well be part of a plan.

From the article:

"Our research indicates the office of Baltimore State Attorney, Marilyn Mosby, used or allowed one of her deputy State Attorneys, Janice Bledsoe (who was in charge of the investigation as assigned by Marilyn Mosby), to willfully and intentionally place a false story using Bledsoe’s lover, WBAL-TV reporter Jayne Miller, and thereby create a fictitious story to imply Donta Allen as the passenger outlined in the Washington Post story."

I would tend to agree...but I think they are complete ideologues who actually believe their own claptrap about social justice and could not plan such a nefarious set of events...

Progressives never actually think though anything...they just want to feel good about themselves...
