Hercules has been crushed — because of a selfie!
A couple of tourists are in hot water after climbing onto a priceless marble statue of the mythical Greek hero in the northern city of Cremona, Italy, the Daily Mail reported.
The miscreants put too much weight on the statue at the Loggia dei Militi palace during their boneheaded bid to snap a photo of themselves — shattering the crown of the Statue of the Two Hercules.

Perhaps....but when God takes control of God’s Earth...do you think he will allow such scultures depicting other Gods to exist? Someday a child may step onto a fractured face of a formerly beloved Buddhist statue, thinking it no more than old rocks in a path....!
God said he will someday shake the heavens and the Earth also....things that we call masterpieces of art or culture will no longer exist or be allowed to exist. Michaelangelo’s David...do you think God will allow that to exist? It’s all going to crumble!

How do you know what God is going to do to specific statues?
I can imagine wanting a selfie while traveling just to prove “I was there.” But come on. I’ve seen ahoes like this climbing on Buddha statues of great age and on temples an stupas as people were worshiping. On our trip to Rome, the selfie crowd pushed us aside to get themselves immortalized. At least, in the Vatican Museum, there were security people on the lookout.
Looks like the US Congress hasn’t cornered the market on destructive stupidity after all.
