It’s the voting system. NON-partisan elections for the (unicameral, another bad thing) state legislature. While Republicans have had the majority for decades (I can’t tell you the last time they didn’t) RINOs thrive in an environment where there are no regular party primaries.

There is no logic in liberals only a disorder.
Non-partisan officially, but they’re identified by political leanings (34 Republicans-14 Democrats-1 Socialist). 30 voted yes, 19 voted no. A slim majority of the GOP caucus, 18 of 34, voted to uphold the veto. All but 1 Democrat voted to override veto.

I’ve often wondered the same thing. How can their logic be so screwed up? I don’t get it.
