Fox News Thinks Little of the Top 2 Breitbart Primary Candidates
Breitbart ^ | 8/7/15 | C. Edmund Wright

Posted on 08/07/2015 7:25:21 PM PDT by VinL

So much for what Fox News thinks of the two leaders in the Breitbart Primary. It’s pretty clear that Fox has an agenda, and that is to destroy Donald Trump while ignoring Sen. Ted Cruz . On the first count, they failed miserably — while they certainly managed to pull off the second one. For now.

In spite of Fox’s efforts — that were so blatant that even Bloomberg noticed — Trump survived Thursday’s debate. And while some may say he slipped just a little, it’s clear he still has the momentum and a big lead. The attempt was so shameful that across the Internet and talk radio today, Fox’s moderators are the big losers. The debate moderation was nothing short of cringeworthy. Fox News, or at least Bret Baier, Chris Wallace and Megyn Kelly, remain remarkably uncurious about Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton — while remaining obsessed with their own face time and with starting fights on stage between participants.

In addition, they are trying to inject themselves into the story — and doing so in a way that indicates they have no idea what is going on outside the Beltway. They might as well be one of the networks featured on Netflix’s House of Cards. Consider a few stunning — and what should be embarrassing — numbers from Thursday’s debate:

40: Ted Cruz was ignored for 40 straight minutes during the debate — with the mods even skipping Cruz on the topics of Iran and, yes, even ObamaCare. How in the world can you take yourself seriously when you don’t invite Cruz into an ObamaCare discussion? Perhaps it’s because Fox was so arrogantly assuring everyone back during the Cruz ObamaCare shutdown filibuster that it was going to cost the Republicans the Senate — in 2014. How did (snip)

"Of course we hate and will attack Trump and Cruz.
Did we ask any questions about Obama or Clinton?"

I would drop my cable subscription to Fox News, that is ? If I had a subscription with Fox News in the first place.

Let’s hurt them in the pocketbook, drop our subscriptions to Fox News.

For anyone on FR against Trump...please realize that, and you should know this by now, that Fox News/GOP is also after Ted Cruz and to an extent Scott Walker. At the moment they don’t seem to be very interested in giving all three a fair shake in debates. If Trump had never run they would be pounding Cruz in the same fashion.

True. Plus remember that the two had a private meeting about something or another a few weeks ago.

In addition, they are trying to inject themselves into the story

A thoroughly unprofessional job by FoxNews. I expected as much from the smug bastard Wallace, but hoped for better from Kelly and Baier. All three behaved as if they were as important as the actual candidates, but instead came away looking very small in the process. FoxNews is in the tank for HebJillary, but I'm nobody's fool and I'm not wasting my vote on another Bush or any other GOPe moderate, period. Viva Cruz!

It has been pretty clear for some time that they are an extension of the Bush political machine. Look at a few of the the people they have working for them: Karl Rove, Dana Perino, Bret Baier, Fred Barnes.

From Drudge Report:
“The analysis notes Fox moderators Chris Wallace, Megyn Kelly and Bret Baier spoke for 31 minutes and 53 seconds of the roughly two-hour broadcast, or 31.7% of the time.”

Every time candidates spoke in the #GOPDebate (darker sections were longer than 60 seconds)

DRUDGE REPORT ‘ONLINE’ POLL :
TRUMP 46.33% (219,889 votes) CRUZ 13.8% ( 65,479 votes) RUBIO 9.62% ( 45,681 votes) CARSON 8.77% ( 41,633 votes) PAUL 6.38% ( 30,284 votes) KASICH 4.74% ( 22,490 votes) WALKER 3.67% ( 17,423 votes) HUCKABEE 3.29% ( 15,603 votes) BUSH 2.13% ( 10,117 votes) CHRISTIE 1.27% ( 6,013 votes) Total Votes: 474,612
