In interviews, several savvy and typically confident Republican donors and strategists seemed puzzled about how to topple Mr. Trump, increasingly worried about the feelings he has stirred among the activist base and uneasy about the consequences for the party.................They better be worried...

I guess the donors and strategists think if they topple Trump, we will - like sheep - just gravitate toward their RINO candidate. Not this time!! Never again!!!

While many Republican leaders and donors are convinced that something must be done to stop the billionaire Manhattan developer, few seem ready to take him on directly, given Mr. Trumps tendency to counterattack viciously..............Trump is no wimp!

In 1964, Rockefeller, George Romney (Mitt’s father), Javits and other RINOs formed a Stop Goldwater movement that sought to give the nomination to William Scranton. They got nowhere, had no base of support in the party and sulked during the General Election, not supporting Goldwater. I would imagine the Jeb Bush types have even less support fifty years later.

The truth is these GOPe hacks don’t know how to attack Trump.
They are unsure if it will backfire and strengthen Trump or hurt him.
They are all crap... In their pants.

Republican strategists and donors have assembled focus groups to test negative messages about Mr. Trump. Won't work. Trump will grow stronger.

Geesh, don’t try to understand what Trump is doing right, what you might learn from him. What motivates these people is power, getting it, keeping it and not letting the riff-raff near them.
They want our votes, since we still have elections for show, but they truly despise us.
This is part of Trump’s success- these guys cannot even see it.

Quiet conversations have begun in recent weeks...
"...recent weeks": that's a lie right there. And if the conversations are so quite, why are they all we are hearing about?

"...the conservative donor class is finding that money..."Let me walk you through this, Nicky-it's the "Uniparty" donor class.
Americans are onto you and your lying ilk in the leftist media.
Now run along and eat some of granny's marinara and meatballs. No one cares what you think.

These dopes are tilting at windmills.
Trump is not the enemy. The GOPe need to look in the mirror to find the real enemy.
What do they think? That if they manage to take Trump down, that all his supporters will suddenly gravitate to their chosen one Jebbie Bush? Or some other GOPe establishment empty suit?
They can spend a billion dollars running negative campaign ads against Donald Trump. And there's no shortage of material to dredge up. They will find little old ladies who gambled away their children's inheritance at penny slots at Trump owned casinos. We will hear about people who lost their job because a Trump owned business declared bankruptcy. We will hear nasty divorce stories and ugly comments that passed between Trump and his ex's as the divorces were going down.
But people aren't going to care about that. They aren't going to suddenly say "That's enough, I'm dumping Trump and going with Jebbie Bush over here."
Just not going to happen.
