Bloomberg's Everytown Dupes Media Into Believing They're Winning The Gun Control Fight

Earlier this week the Associated Press published a story about Oregon's new gun control laws and the anti-gun advocates behind them.

In the piece John Feinblatt, the president of former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg's anti-gun Everytown, was quoted saying gun control is a winning issue and that his organization has been successful at bringing home victories on gun control platforms.

"We are seeing it again and again, that this is actually a winning issue and you can vote to protect the American public and make the American public safe, and your political career will flourish," said John Feinblatt, president of Everytown for Gun Safety, an advocacy group backed by millions from billionaire Michael Bloomberg, the former New York mayor.

The facts show otherwise. Not only is gun control a losing issue among the majority of Americans, Everytown is losing to the NRA by significant margins.

Hmmmmm. Let's see, media and dupes? Sounds redundant to me. Been working with the climate believers so why not with the anti-gunners? The old "Our facts are the real ones and their facts are all a bunch of lies." deal. When it boils down to it, who's facts do you believe?

Remember 1982 California Pro 15 to ban the sale of handguns? A guaranteed win! Polls showed it passing by a two to one margin! Californians wanted gun control!
Handgun Control Inc was already swilling down the champagne for this guaranteed win!! CBS even had an hour long anti-gun special the night before the vote to encourage people to vote for the law!

Then came the vote. It lost 2 to 1 big time! Voters rejected it! Since that day, the politicians have been finding all sorts of little ways to circumvent the will of the people on gun control in California.
