Dianne Feinstein packed.

Three-quarters of a million live in SF. Many millions more in the SF Bay Area. But I think only six (6) gun permits were issued to citizens in SF, and Dianne Feinstein was one of the lucky six. She's a big anti-gun zealot, doesn't want anyone other than herself to have one. Biggest hypocrite in SF.

Just looked it up. SF is down to two (2) permits issued and four (4) pending. Of six, only two active permits.

I believe that the DC Uniparty will not allow him to become President because he could expose all the crimes they have committed once in office.

You’re right. The Bat-s*** crazy Left and the bureaucrat/political elites are both a clear and present danger to Trump. Like I said, I fear for Donald Trump’s life.

The GOP cowers in fear of media disapproval when one of these shootings occurs. The Donald comes out swinging!

Even as a Trump supporter, I'm pretty amazed that he is emerging as the most fearless conservative since Ronald Reagan.

Some older Freepers might remember when John Lennon was assassinated in December 1980. Predictably, the media was in a frenzy about how we need more gun control. President-elect at the time, Ronald Reagan, firmly stated that this did not change his views on citizens having the right to bear arms. Then when Reagan himself was nearly assassinated a few months later, he re-affirmed his support of Second Amendment rights, even though other conservatives seemed ready to cave. In fact, he doubled down by saying that criminals would always find a way to find guns so that we needed even more to preserve the rights of law-abiding citizens to arm and protect themselves. That's gutsy.

With Trump, we are seeing that same steadfastness.

Those would be, of course, the LEGAL guns.

One can also get a gun permit much easier in northern California. Lots of guns up there, pistols, rifles, you name it.

One can get an illegal gun too, I suppose, from the scuzzballs and gangsters of the world.

A couple of big mean dawgs (NOT dogs) also do the trick.

If anyone harms Mr. Trump, then it’s time for a revolution or a military coup.

I worked in SF before retiring. I can't tell you how many times I've come across co-workers illegally carrying guns without permits. In their desk. In their purse or jacket. One time I went to lunch with a female co-worker, and as we left the building she pulls her handgun from her purse and hands it to me to check it out. In public! I admonished her to keep it out of sight, as this was downtown SF. Then there were a few times guns were pulled on me in SF, and the punks were definitely not officers. One time I'm riding in a friend's car, he hits the brakes and some guns tumble from under the seat. He asks me to do him a favor and nudge them back under. The friend was a gang member that I didn't hang around with too closely. Although you can't get a permit to carry in SF, it doesn't mean there aren't lots of guns in SF! Been there, seen it.

MOST of the folks here now were NOT born here. There are very few natives. I feel safe here, but I know where to go, when to go and the reverse, when NOT to go and where NOT to go.
I think that's true of most urban areas. There aren't MORE or less "bad guys," but there are so many more people on earth now that the ratio of good/bad seems skewed.

Doesn't Florida allow people to pack? I thought I read that.

I am careful going out to my back yard at night. We have skunks and raccoon and they are NOT to be treated lightly. One big fat nasty raccoon HISSED at me. I was just going out to admire the full moon. Geez, sorry fat lady.
