I am sorry to have to do this, but as a representative of the mainstream media, I hereby declare war on GOP presidential candidate Sen. Ted Cruz. In the media's defense, Cruz started it. Note the irony: a reporter writes a biased commentary attacking Cruz— for pointing out bias in the media.

For my part, I am imagining the sniggering editors and reporters high-fiving each other at their having really stuck it to that mo-fo Cruz
