Donald Trump and Ben Carson are running neck-and-neck in the Republican primary, a new national poll shows.

Trump has 24% support compared to Carson's 23% in a new Quinnipiac University survey.

Florida Sen. Marco Rubio comes in No. 3 with 14% support, and Texas Sen. Ted Cruz is No. 4 with 13%.

Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush is next with just 4% support, followed by Carly Fiorina, New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie and Ohio Gov. John Kasich at 3% each, and then Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul at 2%.

Among Democrats, Hillary Clinton has maintained her hefty lead -- with 53% backing to Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders' 35%.

This is interesting coming from the LSM and so soon after they proclaimed Carson leading nationally. Plus, this shows how vulnerable Clinton is. Frankly, I'm surprised she leads Trump.

If we do have an election it will be Trump or Carson or Cruz or some combination thereof. Lets see if Obama gets his war going first.

Yeah, someone asked Trump yesterday about Carson’s level in the recent poll by WSJ. He said he just did not understand how he is that high given he is against medicare. He speculated it was a aberration and felt Carson was too nice a guy to win.

Don’t believe it. Will say it again. Carson is a secret Dem plant and hardly presidential.

The Republican electorate is doing their due diligence this time around. Once they get the memo on Rubio, we can put him behind us as well.

Jeb! at 4%. Rove, you magnificent has-been.

“Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush is next with just 4% support”

Bwahahahaha.

Marco and Ted essentially tied in third, yet you will near not even a peep about Cruz in the national media. It will be a total shock when he starts contending with Carson.

There are many countries in the world that deliberately skew poll data for the Media favorite. It happens all around the world. It has become the norm.

I posted this in another thread but it is worth repeating here. Trump, Carson, Rubio and Cruz pulling away from the pack. Bush and Fiorina fading fast. Everyone else is already out of the running.

The current RCP average which now includes the Quinnipiac University Poll.

At least it reinforces who is the Final Four, which is good:

Trump, Carson, Cruz, Rubio.

Jeb, et al, take the hint. If you want to get kicked around and embarrassed for as long as it takes, that’s up to you. But it just ain’t happening. Please, while you still have some dignity.

Exactly! All I heard on Patriot radio over the weekend and this morning was clips from the MSM about Carson taking the lead - with considerable joy and jubilation, I might add.

Replace Carson with Trump and you are 100% correct. Trump is the obvious Democrat plant and is in the race to get his dear friend and wedding guest, Hillary Clinton, elected POTUS.

Trump was hitting that same point (Carson wanting to end Medicare), on Hannity last night. Trump said....you just can’t do that! It works, it just needs all of the fraud and abuse taken out.

He then added, “What has Carson ever managed? A nurse?” I got a kick out of that, because I’d just asked hubby the same question!!

Right. That line is worn out and pretty much dispelled. Why on God’s green Earth would Trump risk his ENTIRE career/career of his kids, to get Hellary elected?

He sees what an utter disaster the Dims have been on the economy and to our vets, immigration, crime, etc. He’s as sick and tired of it, as (most of us) we are.

I think he’d of just invested time and money in ads/donations to support her if he wanted her to be POTUS.

Get a new line.

Hillary is so unpopular that only an even more unpopular GOP candidate would give her much of a chance in the general election.

In steps her donor and good friend Donald Trump to fill that role.
