This is just a reminder to all the liberal Democrats out there wringing their hands about Donald Trump’s latest comments.

Carter orders 50,000 Iranian students in US to report to immigration office with view to deporting those in violation of their visas. On 27 December 1979, US appeals court allows deportation of Iranian students found in violation.
In November 1979, the Attorney General had given all Iranian students one month to report to the local immigration office. Around 7,000 were found in violation of their visas. Around 15,000 Iranians were forced to leave the US.

I’m not even saying I agree with Trump. Personally, I don’t think Trump actually believes he can “ban all Muslims including American citizens†from entering the US—I think Trump is a marketing genius. You see, he knows that Americans will look at his statements, and then look at all the hand wringing from people like Hillary Clinton and Obama who claim that Islam has nothing to do with terror, and faced with that choice, people will align with him. He understands the politics of dichotomy, and when push comes to shove, people might not agree with Trump 100%, but they’re way closer to him than the delusional excuses from Democrats.”

Problem is Trump mentioned a specific religion, which invites opponents to say he would violate 1st, 14th amendments. Better to say “significant presence of terrorist activity”, which just so happen to be Muslim
During periods of war (yes we are at war) all countries have historically banned entry by habitants of hostile nations.
During the cold war there were severe immigration restrictions to and from communist countries.
The spread of Islam has left a trail of blood, suffering, and destruction like no other ideology in world history. History, and even this present age, shows us that Islam is a very violent and fascist religion, full of hate for Christians and Jews. No one could invent a more evil cult.
Donald will learn of Jimma and the Iranians and throw it right back in their arrogant, smug faces!

True, but at some point someone in the West needs to make the observation (or point) that a "religion" whose holy books call for the execution or crucifixion of anyone opposing said religion -- really is not a religion. It is more of a political roadmap to take over a culture.
Islam does not merit First Amendment protection. The reason is because it binds its followers to kill those who don't join its club. Amusing, for a while -- as long as their numbers are small. Deadly when their numbers get large.
I just watched NBC nightly news unload about 20 clips of various people calling Trump a bigot and then they had a dooche that is a university professor explain that its totally unconstitutional to do what Trump wants. LOL! I love Trump even more, and the media is a whore.
I really really hope Trump mentions this the next time he is on TV, then the liberal media would have to choke on it since they adore Jimmah Carter

The Immigration and Nationality Act passed June 27, 1952 revised the laws relating to immigration, naturalization, and nationality for the United States. That act, which became Public Law 414, established both the law and the intent of Congress regarding the immigration of Aliens to the US and remains in effect today.
Among the many issues it covers, one in particular, found in Chapter 2 Section 212, is the prohibition of entry to the US if the Alien belongs to an organization seeking to overthrow the government of the United States by “force, violence, or other unconstitutional means.”
This, by its very definition, rules out Islamic immigration to the United States, but this law is being ignored by the White House. Islamic immigration to the US would be prohibited under this law because the Koran, Sharia Law and the Hadith all require complete submission to Islam, which is antithetical to the US government, the Constitution, and to the Republic.
All Muslims who attest that the Koran is their life’s guiding principal subscribe to submission to Islam and its form of government.
Now the political correct crowd would say that Islamists cannot be prohibited from entering the US because Islam is a religion. Whether it is a religion is immaterial because the law states that Aliens who are affiliated with any “organization” that advocates the overthrow of our government are prohibited.
The Hill reports that the Obama Administration has banned Christian refugees from entering this country.
Foreigners do not have a constitutional right to come into this country. We have a right to control who does, including religious groups that want to wage war against American citizens. It’s totally constitutional.
FDR banned Italians, Japanese and Germans. He suspended all citizenship applications from those countries as well.
Not to mention throwing Japanese into internment camps.

Trump should have focused on the Country, like Iran Iraq Sudan etc.
Only congress has the right on who comes into this country. ...Federal law governs the categories of people who may enter the United States, the terms under which they are admitted, the conditions of their stay, and establishes the grounds and procedures for expelling individuals who violate these laws..... It also sets the requirements for acquiring U.S. citizenship and when and how citizenship can be revoked.

Oh bullshit. The Immigration and Nationality Act of 1952 gives the President authority to block or admit any damn person or groups of people he chooses. Read it yourself.
“Whenever the President finds that the entry of any aliens or of any class of aliens into the United States would be detrimental to the interests of the United States, he may by proclamation, and for such period as he shall deem necessary, suspend the entry of all aliens or any class of aliens as immigrants or nonimmigrants, or impose on the entry of aliens any restrictions he may deem to be appropriate,†the 1952 law states.
The proposal may violate international agreements, but its hard to see how it could be unconstitutional, since it refers to non-U.S. citizens. In addition to the broad authority to suspend entry to aliens deemed “detrimental,†the Immigration and Nationality Act stipulates any immigrant affiliated with a totalitarian party is inadmissible.
