Law justifying Trump ban written by Democrats
WND ^ | Dec 14, 2015 | Phyllis Schlafly

Trump called on our government to stop letting Muslims enter the United States "until our country's representatives can figure out what the hell is going on."

Unconstitutional? On the contrary, the Supreme Court has never dared to limit Congress' "plenary power" over immigration, even when it was based on race, religion or national origin. In a 1977 case, for example, the Supreme Court observed that "the power to expel or exclude aliens [is] a fundamental sovereign attribute exercised by the government's political departments largely immune from judicial control."

That plenary power is best expressed in the McCarran-Walter Immigration Act, the work of Sen. Pat McCarran, D-Nev. and Rep. Francis Walter, D-Pa., two Democrats.

McCarran-Walter was used to keep out aliens who were members of the Communist Party or "Communist front" organizations. In 1980, the same law was used by President Jimmy Carter during the Iran hostage crisis to suspend visas to anyone who wanted to come here from Iran.

Sixty years ago, the Democratic Party could boast a patriotic, pro-American anti-Communist like Pat McCarran, but that is no longer the case. Sen. Leahy, D-Vt., proposed an amendment, adopted by the Senate Judiciary Committee with the help of seven Republicans, "It is the sense of the Senate that the United States must not bar individuals from entering into the United States based on their religion, as such action would be contrary to the fundamental principles on which this Nation was founded."

No, the fundamental principle on which this Nation was founded is that "we the people," through our elected representatives, have the unalienable right to pick and choose whom we shall allow to enter our great country. The Constitution, which our Founding Fathers bequeathed "to ourselves and our posterity," does not extend its rights and benefits to the whole world.

Damned right it’s who we are. We are a Judeo-Christian nation and always have been. Muslims are sworn to exterminate us.

Globalism is setting the stage for Antichrist.

"Climate Change" is their main chosen vehicle to bring the world under one government.

"Open Borders" is now in full swing.

"Extremism" will be used as an excuse to persecute Jews and Christians (but not Muslims).

Economic collapse will bring about the one world currency and economic system.

There is no Constitutional right to immigrate. Being allowed to immigrate is the prerogative of the citizens of the US and based upon the needs of the country. The right to immigrate is NOT based upon the desires of those wishing to immigrate. Allowing 10,000 Syrian “refugees” into the US is tantamount to national suicide.

The US, despite Obama’s proclamation to the contrary, is a Judeo-Christian nation. We have no need to introduce Muslims into our nation. They are members of a movement whose agenda is to install a world wide, repressive, 7th century form of government and impose a barbaric “Sharia Law” system of justice.

Any Muslims, like the parents of the San Berdo killers, who apparently knew of their son and daughter-in-law’s plans for jihad, should be stripped of their US citizenship and deported to their country of origin, just as we did to Mobsters in the 1920’s and 30’s. Our borders should be closed to all Muslims....period. Their “religion” (sic) is incompatible with both US and western values.

You and I both have the right to be secure in our own nation from the scourge of Islam.

Trump is right and his rise in the polling reflects the common sense of the American electorate.

the Supreme Court has never dared to limit Congress' "plenary power" over immigration

I'm not really sure where this alleged "plenary power" comes from.

One of the causes of separation from Great Britain was "He has endeavoured to prevent the population of these States; for that purpose obstructing the Laws for Naturalization of Foreigners; refusing to pass others to encourage their migrations hither, and raising the conditions of new Appropriations of Lands"

Congress has the power to set uniform rules for the naturalization of foreigners, so Congress can clearly naturalize everybody, nobody, or only persons of their choice.

But as far as limiting the migration of aliens to the US? Show me where this "plenary power" lies in the Constitution, or elsewhere.

I favor cessation of all immigration for ten years, deportation of any aliens who adhere to dangerous cults, and after the ten-year pause admission only of those who are self-supporting and of clear benefit to the existing US culture and population.

But I'm darned if I see where Congress (as opposed to the several States) has the power to accomplish that.

The whining mediots and beltway pundits need to update their knowledge of the immigration law of 1952!

The hysterical response to Donald Trump’s proposal to restrict Muslim immigration is unwarranted.

Contrary to the claims of Trump’s critics, the power to suspend the admission of “any aliens or any class of aliens into the United States” is expressly reserved by statute to the president whenever any president finds that such admission “would be detrimental to the interests of the United States.

The Federal Law re no entry to bad people wanting to come to America, even the soft hearted Christian Jimmy Carter used it to get rid of possible bad Iranians. The same Jimmy Carter, who teaches Sunday school every Sunday at his Christian Church.

This law was passed in 1952 by a Democrat controlled congress, signed by a democrat president, Truman and okayed by a Democrat controlled Supreme Court.

Jimmy Carter, the kind hearted Cino Democrat, used this law while he was president to prevent Iranians from coming to America and get many in America, sent back to Iran.

Per existing federal law at 8 USC 1182:

Whenever the President finds that the entry of any aliens or of any class of aliens into the United States would be detrimental to the interests of the United States, he may by proclamation, and for such period as he shall deem necessary, suspend the entry of all aliens or any class of aliens as immigrants or nonimmigrants, or impose on the entry of aliens any restrictions he may deem to appropriate.

Current laws banning admission to the US, and not requiring new laws. Just need someone like Trump to have them enforced:

Rush Limbaugh discusses how Jimmy Carter used this law to expel thousands of Iranians.

The Trump Nutty Proposal Is Already the Law of the Land
Rush Limbaugh.com ^ | December 9, 2015 | Rush Limbaugh
Over here, everybody in the establishment in the political class, Republican, Democrat, media, you name it, is all claiming that what Trump said is dumb, stupid, reckless, dangerous, unconstitutional, while it is the law of the land. And it was utilized by Jimmy Carter, no less, in 1979 to keep Iranians out of the United States, but he actually did more. He made all Iranian students already here check in, and then he deported a ton of them.

There is precedent for everything Donald Trump has said he wants to do. And if you listen to the wizards of smart in this country and our political establishment, you will think that this stuff is just unheard of, it is almost unspeakable, it’s just indecent. Here we have in the establishment the reputed best and brightest, the smartest. We are not even qualified to be in their company no less. And they’re dunces on this.

In November the 1979 United States attorney general had given all Iranian students one month to report to the local immigration office. Seven thousand were found in violation of their visas, 15,000 Iranians were forced to leave the United States, 1979. When this law, inadmissible aliens I just read to you, which I am gonna be reading a lot to you today to the point you’re gonna get tired of hearing it, but you will not forget it.

Please send this to fellow conservatives, media outlets and to liberals, who need a whack in the head with reality of how their President Truman signed this law and later Carter used it to get rid of a lot of potentially dangerous Iranians.

Don't forget that Democrap President Roosevelt with the support of an overwhelming majority Democrap Congress rounded up UNITED STATES CITIZENS of JAPANESE ancestry and held them in camps for the duration of WWII!

Below is a reality that has been hidden by the left wing media re German Americans in WWII. Not only Japanese were interned during WWII, Germans were, and Italians were closely monitored in coastal areas.

One of the best kept secrets of WWII was the internment of German American men, women and children, away from the rest of America.

Canada and some Latin America countries did the same and interned some Italians.

Why did these evil countries do this. They were at war with the Axis, Germany, Italy and Japan, and they did not want to have acts of terrorism committed against their citizens by possible terrorists.

Did the media label FDR as a Nazi for the internment of Germans, Japanese and some Italians during WWII?

Who were the presidents during WWII, and what party controlled congress and the Supreme Court?
