If repeat business is the top sign of a success, then Karl Rove is now the poster boy for campaign strategy failure.
According to a report by Gabriel Sherman in New York Magazine, Rove's fund raising for the 2016 campaign is currently at less than 1 per cent of what he ended up with in 2012, and indications are it's not going to get much better. Do the math: he's down more than 99 percent. Even if he eventually raises ten fold what he's pulled in so far, he's still likely to be down 90 percent plus.
That's because many of his previous benefactors are seething with anger over the 2012 failure.

How do we get rid of this clown???
Which is worse Rove-stupid or Murphy-stupid?

How do we get rid of this clown???

I don’t know for sure but, judging by the 1st picture in post 1 above, possibly we could send him off to play Bingo with Aunt Linda from South Carolina?
And yet these perennial losers keep getting hired by the Establishment types. Pfft!
Rove is not as stupid as the brain-deads who hire him.
Actually, he’s doing it for us, by missing every que there has been telling anyone who would listen that he and the GOPe had a complete disconnect with the Republican voters.
He was allowed to have his way, and now years later they are finally waking up to what a fool he was, and how badly he misled them.
He’s done.
What’s stupid is supposedly “smart money” forking their funds over to these clowns over and over.
You sure?
.
Then, another empty suit...
Well, he used to be a magnificent bastard around these parts.
So was Benedict Arnold, in his time.
Ahhh, Bless His Little GOPe Heart.
Since there are only three Republican presidential candidates who are currently polling above 10% and therefore have a realistic chance of winning the nomination — Trump, Cruz, and Rubio — why would any donor in his or her right mind continue to pour money into any of the losing single-digit candidates’ coffers?
It would make some sense for wealthy individuals to gamble millions of dollars in Las Vegas casinos, since there is a chance that they could win and walk away with more money. However, there is nothing to gain from betting millions on virtually mathematically eliminated losers like Chris Christie, Ron Paul, and the other dregs of the Republican race.
Yet the fact that such losers still remain in the race proves that there are in fact idiotic Republican donors eager to continue to throw money down the drain.
Good article, but I’m not really getting the humor of the phrase”Rove-Stupid”. What am I missing?
For the candidates still holding office and already bought, continued support at some level insures getting what they paid for from the current office
For Jeb and Carly and maybe Dr Ben, there is no such advantage
