It started with an excuse for being late—a 10-year-old said a homeless man had hit him. Then his mother, two friends, and several teens allegedly retaliated with a deadly beating.

When we think of the 10-year-olds who have murdered other children, is lying that hard to believe ???
Beat them all to death with a club. Force their neighbors and families to watch. Make it a lesson and a warning.
I wouldn’t be surprised to find that the kid never said any such thing. It was a race-based attack and the mom cooked up that excuse to cover it.
Ad blocking software is more about self defense than getting something for nothing these days.

As much of concern would be why the lad felt he had to lie... was he otherwise going to catch hell from the hellion?
I had a mom who could be a nutcase with anger from time to time and even she didn’t react that way to my having fallen off a bike once, in fact she gave me a whole blueberry cobbler to eat. Not all mercy had died. But I could see women this far gone in rage doing something like what is reported here, and giving the lad a motivation to lie. It’s only a matter of degree.
That is an alternate possibility. It looks in any case like hell reigned in that home and burst out upon that hapless homeless man.
It was later revealed that the boy had fabricated that assault to explain an injury he received falling from his bicycle—he had argued with Barnes earlier in the day but concocted the story as an excuse for coming home late.
I'v done a cursory bit of research and the first I can find where the kid lied entered the narrative was April 28th. The beating took place some weeks earlier.
I conjecture from "It was later revealed" that the defendants, and quite possibly the defense attorney collaborated with the "child lied" aspect to mitigate the circumstances.
I hope it's not racist of me. I just don't buy the "it was later revealed" part. It was probably a good spot to panhandle for the kid and he complained to his mother who promptly beat him like you see on a Tom and Jerry cartoon to run him out.
In a situation rife with wickedness, lies of some kind reign, as do demonic efforts at masking. I wouldn’t go too gaga with blaming at this point, just pray in general for God to help in the aftermath.

There are tons of sites like that now. Most have so overloaded themselves with junk ad crap they are essentially no longer useable. It’s sort of like if network TV shows consisted of 99% ads and 1% show.
My solution has been to use Firefox with extensions like Adblock Plus, Element Hiding Helper, CookieCuller, BetterPrivacy, DoNotTrackMe, TabMixPlus, IE View, Classic Theme Restorer (to move tabs below all the other crap), RefControl, ViewAbout, Flash Video Downloader, and Visited.
(Adblock Plus is the one that does the heavy lifting for making web sites come back to life; most of the others are for convenience. Also, you’ll need to set extensions.blocklist.enabled to false via the about:config pseudo webpage to keep FF from whining about putative “out-of-date” extensions.)
Every aspect of this crime makes me shake my head in wonder, but the hardest thing I have to wrap my mind around is the almost certainty that these women knew that they’d be identified, that they’d be charged with a terrible crime, and that they would at the very least be imprisoned for many, many years. They did what they did for the sake of their children, yet they will probably never see those children again, and they’ve exposed their children to the fate they’ll suffer themselves. Yet they acted. They have less impulse control than a mad pit bull, which is a dumb animal.

is equivalent to saying “lie coerced ... to murder”.
Wrong. The reptilian brain subhumans used their low order mental faculties to murder. To the extent that they still resemble humans, they are guilty of murder.
why would people go that ballistic for even intentionally knocking someone off his bike?...it just shows how hair trigger these people are, and we know that humans that react so disproportionately have low intelligence..
