The psychological processes which prevent people from facing facts when the unthinkable has become obvious can be explained by the models of social psychology called cognitive dissonance theory.
Cognitive dissonance is the mental stress and discomfort caused when important beliefs, attitudes or values, called cognitions, are inconsistent, conflicting or contradictory to each other. In the 1950s the psychologist Leon Festinger theorized that the mind spontaneously, continuously reduces cognitive dissonance to enable goal-directed functioning in a paradoxical, inconsistent, deceptive world. Festinger's discovery founded a rich tradition of research which has demonstrated how the mind resolves contradictions. It provides a powerful way to understand why people can't face what President Obama is doing to America.
Research has demonstrated countless times that cognitions do not have to be true to create dissonance, they just have to be believed. Barack Obama was elected to reduce the dissonance between the beliefs 'America is the land of the free', and the falsehoods 'America is still racist' and 'President Obama will go a long way to solving the problem of racism.' Because "America is racist" is false, its corollaries are equally false. 'We must elect a black Democrat -- not black Republican -- because Republicans don't emphasize America is racist. Obama is fabulous, no need to know much about him, or whether he can lead the nation. He will make us feel better about ourselves'.(snip)
The loss of opportunities and the diminishing of hopes which Obama's policies have inflicted create a monumental need for sel-justification among his supporters. "The president shows us America is still racist. We were right all along." They have let go the truth that America is about freedom. No one knows how many still stand upon that truth, how many care, or if there are enough big lies left to elect Hillary.

Anyone who understood Obama and his upbringing (most of us here) knew what he was like. We were proven right. Where were the Republicans? McCain even had nice things to say about him.
That is funny. When I go to a restaurant and see a black person or have an opportunity to interact with a black person it is always a pleasant greeting.
I do not know what Obama is talking about. The only race problems I see are certain magnifications on television.
You would think that Obama would be at least a little bit sensitive to his white half.
We’ve faced it before he was first elected. It is the media that has that problem.
Either they were black mailed or bought off. In any case, America needs to stop electing republican effeminate types with no moral back bone to congress.
Obama’s supporters are a different breed when compared to backers of other politicians. In 2008, they became infatuated with him, and that infatuation grew into a deep emotional bond. A conversation (or at least an attempted one) with an O-Bot exposes that dynamic... these people aren’t just in agreement with Obama... they’re in love.

Remember the story a few weeks back about the burglar in Florida who was killed by an alligator?
The most important point to that story was over looked.
The burglar had called his girlfriend to let her know what he was doing.
He told his girlfriend that he was breaking into houses and stealing things.
What was his girlfriend’s reaction? Did she tell him not to do it? Did she report him to the police?
Nope. She waited for him to get home with the loot.
And there you have the Democrat Party in a nutshell.

Well, since it is highly unlikely that there will be another Black running this time, maybe people can reagain their senses.
Yes, but even worse than that, the media that was believed to be trustworthy/conservative was threatened into ridiculing anybody who brought up the truth about Obama’s ineligibility and who put him into office anyway (world Muslims). Those were the 2 very specific things that the media heads told their on-air people that could not be addressed on-air, because (the media heads said) the company would be annihilated through FCC harassment. There’s more to that, We know that’s what the media heads told their people because several witnesses have corroborated that claim, but I strongly doubt that was what the media heads had actually been told by Soros, Axelrod, and Emanuel. I suspect they were told that the dry-run economic terrorism attack in Sept of 2008 would be done again if critical people didn’t simply allow Obama to illegally walk into the White House. George Bush was scared spitless, saying that the entire world economy would collapse unless TARP was passed. John McCain suspended his candidacy suddenly after a phone call from Obama, on the same day that GWB got suddenly VERY scared and gave his speech to the nation. All that after a week’s wait without the world falling apart, and with GWB trusting Congress to handle it.
There are kots of other reasons to believe that Islamists put Obama into the White House (not the least of which is a speech by Ghadaffi where he basically said that...). But the fact that Obama’s public handlers (Soros, Axelrod, and Emanuel) made these threats to the media companies in October 2008 regarding those 2 specific things says what they knew was Obama’s jugular: his ineligibility, and his Muslim loyalties that would ultimately be the reason he got into the White House. His ineligibility tells us he is a foreigner, and the role of Islamists in threatening the system to allow him a free pass into the White House tells us he is an enemy combatant, serving those who have sworn to destroy us in this very way (by sneaking one of them into a critical position so he can “fundamentally transform” us into sharia).
I believe it was at the CNN meeting where the threats were conveyed to on-air personnel, that the participants said they would willingly censor anyway, because it wasn’t like this was GBW or something; it was Obama so if he needed them to censor there must be a good reason. So CNN’s on-air people are traitors with this dissonance issue. But the “conservatives” who were ridiculing those who spoke the truth were threatened into doing so - at least the top “conservatives”, and all the wannabe’s (like Erick Erickson) stepped in line because they’re not capable of standing on their own two feet.
Then again, there were the HI officials who gave public “fig leafs”, and that is a whole ‘nother story that needs to see the light of day, soon. What happened in HI was an act of war against the whole rest of the US, and the US needs to see and comprehend exactly what happened, soon. It’s a very, very ugly story.
So you still think he has a chance? I don’t, and further, as good a man as Carson may be, he doesn’t have the stomach for the coming fights. And if he happened to be White, he wouldn’t be here today.
Donald Trumps courage in stating the truth no matter how politically incorrect it is, is why we are seeing more and more articles like this.

I think most of us here on FR knew what he was long before he was elected. The truly sad thing is he has made it nearly impossible for a black person to ever get elected Prez again.
Had obie been a good man; it truly could have helped make America more blind to race. Instead he made it worse from all sides.
