A Muslim woman was escorted out of Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump's rally in South Carolina on Friday after she stood up in silent protest.
Rose Hamid, a 56-year-old flight attendant, was sitting in the stands behind Trump, according to CNN, when the billionaire suggested Syrian refugees fleeing a civil war were affiliated with the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS).
Hamid, who was wearing a hijab, did not say anything while Trump spoke, according to CNN. However, Trump supporters called attention to her and Marty Rosenbluth, the man sitting next to her who also stood up.
The two were wearing stars resembling those worn by Jews during the Holocaust.
Security escorted the two out as Trump supporters booed and yelled "get out."
According to Hamid, one person shouted, "You have a bomb, you have a bomb," CNN reported.
"The ugliness really came out fast and that's really scary," she told CNN after she was escorted out of the venue.
Hamid added that several people around her held her hand and said "sorry" as she was forced to leave.
"There is a hatred against us that is unbelievable," Trump said after Hamid was ejected. "It's their hatred, not our hatred."
Hamid told CNN before the event that she didn't plan to disrupt the event, but wanted to give Trump's supporters some insight as to what Muslims are like.
"I figured that most Trump supporters probably never met a Muslim, so I figured that I'd give them the opportunity to meet one" she said. "I really don't plan on saying anything. I don't want to be disrespectful but if he says something that I feel needs answering I might - we'll see what strikes me.
"People don't have a chance to see anything other than the Muslims they see on TV," she added, talking about the footage of terrorists.
I hope Trump fires TSA when he gets in, as well as getting rid of the xxx-ray scanners. PROFILE, and don’t allow Muslims to travel here.
She says we only see Muslims on tv. Gee why is that???

This combined with what I see as a willingness to see things as they are, from a business/reality perspective, and not through the lens of blinding political correctness, would be an incredible sea change from how things (don’t) work in Washington.

I noticed this also. Really cowardly, considering that a good percentage of Muslims in the Middle East (and, sorry to say, here) don’t think that Jews, never mind Israel, actually have a right to exist.
She shows up in that ugly outfit to tell us how great Muslims are? FAIL!
Trump was having a hard time identifying protesters last night. Maybe because of the size of the venue or the lights. My point is that security were the ones who made the decision to remove this protester. If anyone is to fault it’s them. Was there another man with her? What happened to him? Typical CNN reporting.
Why use Jewish stars? That is really quite offensive since Muslims were aligned with Hitler.
Second there is no holocaust or genocide going on, Muslims are fighting between themselves. The intentional genocide is against the Jews and western civilization, and it is the Christian who is facing mass extermination in Islamic countries.
Mohammad came in peace to Yathrib until enough of them had accomplished hijrah (jihad by immigration), and they rose up and slaughtered the inhabitants. Then they renamed it Mecca.
One experience was in an airport bathroom. She had her foot in the sink! What the h*ll! Why do they wash their feet in an airport? It's not like she was walking around the airport barefoot.
It may not sound gross but if you've had to witness this foot washing in public, I think you'd be disgusted, too.
