Sarah Palin, the former Alaska governor and 2008 vice-presidential nominee who became a Tea Party sensation and a favorite of grass-roots conservatives, will endorse Donald J. Trump in Iowa on Tuesday, officials with his campaign confirmed. The endorsement provides Mr. Trump with a potentially significant boost just 13 days before the state's caucuses.

I’d say politicians know nothing of real-world economics.
Trump changed over the YEARS , Cruz changed over MONTHS. Trump took the risks, Cruz followed.
I personally think the country is too far gone and only CWII can reset us far back enough. But I think Trump will try, while Cruz will just talk - without being able to convince anyone. Much like his Senate career.

Yes he would and there would be no controversy
Plain has been after the GOPe since the end of the 2008 election. She probably sees Trump as the best chance to wind and reduce their influence. She likes Cruz but probably does not believe he can either win or stand up to the forces he will face if nominated. Sarah has faced that fire.
I view her take on the race much like I do those of us who have served in the military and been under fire. Their is an experience one receives that cannot be learned by reading a book.
If Trump is elected, and doesn’t deport the illegals and build the wall, this country is going to go apeshit.
Personally, I think he really will deport the illegals and build the wall. He may even spill the beans on Obama, the Clintons, and other traitors and actually authorize prosecution. One can only hope.
Does that make him a conservative? Probably not - but it does make him a populist. Hmmm, how about national populist? NaPi or whatever acronym will be used to label the movement.
I’m sort of over the back & forth - either this ship gets righted or we’re in for a world of hurt.

I still love Sarah Palin even though I disagree with her on this issue. I made up my mind before Sarah Palin weighed in and her endorsement isn’t going to change it. I don’t need someone to make up my mind for me. Her last-minute endorsement of Mitt Romney didn’t budge one bit in 2012.

After you’re done nursing that, you might want to ponder something. We’re only talking one branch of government. Ted Cruz problem in my view is that he’s trying for the wrong job. He would be a fantastic, and I do mean fantastic, scotus justice.
First of all, being a billionaire doesn’t not mean you know anything about economics. Take Bill Gates for an example. He had good ideas in his field, but I don’t know if he knows anything about economics. Richard Branson. Oh, Dr. Dre: after he sold Beats he is worth over $1 billion. Do you know if e knows anything about economics?

Trump said they’d come back legally, getting in line with those already there. Those in line need to prove skills and pay fees - it’s never a for sure thing.
