JANUARY 22, 2016 ~ CONSISTENTCONSERVATIVES
This is an emergency means for us to keep in touch with our FRiends, who are real Conservatives, in case of purging. Or, if there is no purging, do we really want to continue our discussions in the forum where the owner despises us for not supporting his non-Conservative candidate?
My purpose is to figure out what to do to continue our discussions to advance Conservatism.
On what basis do you presume this???

Like I said, I have been avoiding your posts and would have to go back months to find your remarks to me.
I will admit that some people treat you worse than you treat them but that comes from your constantly posting hit pieces on Trump.
No he didn’t according to his words.
To believe Trump or not.....that IS the question????.....especially since he has no evidence supporting his positions now except he says so.... His explanations for how and why he claims to have changed are vague at best. Especially since it’s only been months ago he was singing different tunes by his actions and evidence of.

I post articles and OpEds about issues, news and candidates, and I do an occasional “vanity.”
I am very grateful for FR and Jim Robinson’s work over the years to have a site where so many can bring topics for discussion and to give comments/learn things.
I do have an opinion and it may vary from yours but I do make a concerted, conscious attempt to keep things non-personal.
Often, because my point of view differs from someone else’s they resort to saying that I “hate” their candidate and “constantly post hit pieces.”
I understand this dynamic but I also choose to set the record straight when I’m being maligned (not all the time but today I will make a stand).

Trumps pretty much flip-flopped back and forth and in between parties.....
* JULY 1987:
Trump registers for the first time from his Fifth Avenue penthouse. The real estate developer, 41 at the time, reports having previously been registered from his boyhood home in Queens (though his prior party affiliation is unclear). Trump enrolls as a REPUBLICAN.
* OCTOBER 1999:
Trump dumps the GOP and enrolls as a member of the INDEPENDENCE PARTY.
* AUGUST 2001:
Trump enrolls as a DEMOCRAT.
* SEPTEMBER 2009:
After eight years as a Democrat, Trump returns to the REPUBLICAN PARTY.
* DECEMBER 2011:
Trump lasts two years before he again abandons the party of Ronald Reagan. He eschews the GOP in favor of siding with no party. On his registration form, “The Apprentice†star checks off the box marked ....“I DO NOT WISH TO ENROLL IN A PARTY.â€
* APRIL 2012:
Trump registers as a REPUBLICAN.
