Merkel is battling for a deal that will see refugees more evenly spread around the European Union after Germany welcomed 1.1 million asylum seekers last year.
But instead, eastern European countries are planning new razor wire fences, and even Paris -- traditionally Berlin's closest EU ally -- has shown little enthusiasm for Merkel's welcome policy.
French Prime Minister Manuel Valls said Saturday that the mood in France was "not favourable" to Merkel's call for a permanent quota system.
"Europe cannot take in all the migrants from Syria, Iraq or Africa," Valls told German media. "It has to regain control over its borders, over its migration or asylum policies."
US Secretary of State John Kerry praised Merkel for showing "great courage in helping so many who need so much" amid "the gravest humanitarian crisis in Europe since World War II".
But he also told the Munich Security Conference that the mass influx spells a "near existential... threat to the politics and fabric of life in Europe".
Another guest in Munich, Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev, took a far darker view, charging that "it's quite simply stupid to open Europe's doors wide and invite in everyone who wants to come to your country"

Mommy Merkel, and her wet tissue paper, (remember that, fellow baby boomers?), wants to take care of all the sniveling little A-rabs, and throw away the entire Germanic history, for the sake of some younger, warm bodies to fill empty job slots in her factories.
Existential threat lol. It is a clear and present threat.
The quota system is meaningless since the ‘refugees’ can move to the countries offering the most benefits, ie, Germany.

Common sense is a “dark view” according to the left.
They should live on Kerrys yacht and in his mansion.
Esatern Europe wants to survive.
That’s why they are putting up barriers and restricting entry.
Western Europe seems to have resigned itself to submission.
Islam means submission.
Kerry is telling her how wonderful she is to fill her country with killers. Her own people....not so much. She picked the wrong side.

A recent Forsa poll for Der Stern magazine published October 14, 2015, showed support for Merkel’s policies at: 82% of Green party voters and 62% of Social Democratic supporters backing her refugee policies, against 49% of Christian Democratic Union voters, Left Party voters at 45%, and a mere 25% among Christian Social Union supporters. Accuracy was +/-3$ for the 1006 polled sample.
She’s thrilled that everyone else’s problem will now be sent on to Germany. She’s mental wanting such a death wish.
All this was done to turn europe into a police state, just at a faster pace.
Bring in trouble and thugs. Do nothing. The unarmed people demand govt do something. Police state and draconian laws all must live under, already written up, are enacted.
It is not insane, given the goals of Merkel.
You are looking at it from a different viewpoint than she is.

Seems neither Karry or Merkel stopped to consider the hell they would be visiting on everyday German citizens. Proof positive once again elites are insensitive assh*les.
