LAS VEGAS, Nevada -- 500,000 votes have already been cast in Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX)'s home state of Texas, and one million will be cast by Friday, giving Cruz a decisive edge over Donald Trump, Lieutenant Governor Dan Patrick told Breitbart News Tuesday night.
Patrick told Breitbart News that early voting favors Cruz, because Trump has not had as much time campaigning in Texas.
"This race is getting down to two people. Rubio doesn't have a pathway to victory," Patrick added, noting that one million early votes would represents 60 percent of the total in Texas.
...
Candidates must win at least 20 per cent of the votes in Texas to be awarded any delegates, Patrick explained, suggesting that Trump and Cruz would likely be the only candidates receiving delegates in Texas on March 1, "Super Tuesday," next week. He told reporters that if Rubio does break 20 per cent, he would still only win a couple of delegates.
Patrick emphasized that Texas alone has more delegates than Iowa, New Hampshire, South Carolina and Nevada put together, allowing Cruz to make up a significant portion of the current gap with Trump...

“The ballot is also favoring Cruz over trump. On the ballot he does not even appear to be a presidential candidate. It looks like he is running for a separate office.”
So Cruz is depending on the ignorance of the voters not knowing who is even running? Great campaign strategy /s
exactly what I just posted too!
“That’s why you are a bunch of losers”
You are a mindless Cruz-bot and now you are projecting; proof you could not recognize a loser if you stumbled over one.
“Trump hates Cruz and all of his supporters
It drips from so many trumpeters”
We try to ignore you, actually. But Cruz supporters come on every Trump thread, attacking us personally and being quite rude.
cruz will not lose.
We have too many Hispanics that will sweep him in.
And true social conservatives here who recognize one like Cruz and one who is not like Trump
47 delegates are awarded by the statewide total proportionally (unless they get over 50% - not likely from the polls). Then each of 36 districts have 3 delegates, awarded proportionally to any candidate getting over 20%. (50% gets all 3).
From the polls, even if Cruz wins Trump will still get quite a few delegates.
He has never had a real job in the private sector.

Well Edward did work for a private sector law firm for a while. Now that may
not be classified as a real job but it was one that wasn’t a gov’t sector job.
Over the past few election cycles Texas has been growing in early voting totals to where
upwards of 40% will vote in the early voting period to avoid the crowds on election day.

One of those votes is mine. Happy that there is finally a Constitutional Conservative as a candidate. He did a very good job on Megyn Kelly’s forum last night.
None since we have picture ID to vote in the great State of Texas.
So you’re far to the left. Got it.
Because he is a conservative senator...from Texas?
We may not be reading the same threads, I could easily give you a dozen pseudonyms to illustrate my point, but here is just one... eartick. He must have received some kind of warning because he cleaned his act up a little yesterday but go back a couple of days and then try to come up with excuses for his behavior and level of maturity. I would appreciate it greatly if you could find at least one similar example illustrating your point.

If I was for the left, I'd be voting for Hillary or Bernie you silly goose.
I prefer Trump over Cruz (my 2nd choice) cause I don't believe Cruz would accomplish what Trump can.
Let’s us hope there is a majority just like you!

Ha, ha. Cruz is your second choice so you post a cartoon mocking him as too far to the right! Hilarious!
