LAS VEGAS, Nevada -- 500,000 votes have already been cast in Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX)'s home state of Texas, and one million will be cast by Friday, giving Cruz a decisive edge over Donald Trump, Lieutenant Governor Dan Patrick told Breitbart News Tuesday night.
Patrick told Breitbart News that early voting favors Cruz, because Trump has not had as much time campaigning in Texas.
"This race is getting down to two people. Rubio doesn't have a pathway to victory," Patrick added, noting that one million early votes would represents 60 percent of the total in Texas.

Candidates must win at least 20 per cent of the votes in Texas to be awarded any delegates, Patrick explained, suggesting that Trump and Cruz would likely be the only candidates receiving delegates in Texas on March 1, "Super Tuesday," next week. He told reporters that if Rubio does break 20 per cent, he would still only win a couple of delegates.
Patrick emphasized that Texas alone has more delegates than Iowa, New Hampshire, South Carolina and Nevada put together, allowing Cruz to make up a significant portion of the current gap with Trump...

And what if 4 out of 5 of those votes are for someone other than candidate with the homefield advantage?
Convinced him about what? I think it is ludicrous, this jumping to conclusions on so little information. It’s almost like all hell is jumping over both America and FR trying to take Donald Trump down.
There’s also a lot of Mrs. Bill backers in TX who are trying to organize for November.
why do ppl automatically assume Ted is the winner of Texas just because lots of ppl have already voted. Has it been counted?
When is the primary in Tokyo again? Or did you vote absentee in SC? Either way, sorry.
Hate to disappoint Texas, but Cruz will not be President.
"Mr. Trump talked about the art of applause lines. âYou know,â he said of his events, âif it gets a little boring, if I see people starting to sort of, maybe thinking about leaving, I can sort of tell the audience, I just say, âWe will build the wall!â and they go nuts.â
Sounds like Dan Patrick is drinking what CRuz, Beck and Barton are drinking...Dominion Brew.
It makes you think third place is the winner.
“Patrick told Breitbart News that early voting favors Cruz, because Trump has not had as much time campaigning in Texas.”
Oh no.....those poor folks in Texas don’t have tv, radio, computers or any of that newfangled stuff.
~~Go Trump Go~~~~Go Trump Go~~~~Go Trump Go~~~~Go Trump Go~~
“Trump has been to Louisiana once, and most of the people I know here (actually all the people I know here) are voting for Trump. Can’t wait.”
I thought about going but decided against it. I don’t care for massive crowds. :-)
I did listen to the rally on the local radio station, as I was curious how he would approach us in the deep South. He’s done his homework. He’s gonna own this.
I will be surprised if Cruz does not win Texas.
There’s been some chatter on the shows about early voting. Cruz advantage might be too much.
Trump will win a fair share proportionally. Trump’s competitiveness in Texas will keep Cruz from the rest of Super Tuesday states.
400,000 of those are for Trump ..thanks for posting this ...
LIKE!
DH & I voted for Trump last Saturday.
LOL!
That’s the kind of DUmp crap that gets people Banned around here, and not for a little “time out” like the Mods gave you last week.
Here’s a little friendly advice, contact the Mod and ask him politely to take that POS Post down.
I think it’s hilarious. Shows desperation.
