Former Gov. Mike Huckabee (R-Ark.) is defending Donald Trump from calls for the GOP front-runner to release his tax returns.
"Never help someone load a gun when it's pointed at your own head," he advised Trump on Fox Business Network's "Cavuto Coast to Coast" on Thursday. "You're going to find that it never ends well.
"Why do we have a right to see somebody's tax returns if they have given us what the government requires?" Huckabee asked host Neil Cavuto. "To make it the single qualification to be president, I find to be absurd."

Huck seems to be a fan of Trump.
I was never a fan for Huckabee to be president but always liked him....
This showed his character and he is right!
The Huck needs to campaign for Trump in Arkansas. By the way I much prefer Newt for the VP slot for a number of reasons.
I suspect he’s on the short list for VP.
I have always thought he’s a bit slick, but for some reason I have eased up lately on my opinion of him. Maybe I’m just getting old.

I figure the “bombshell” Romney’s been pushing is that Trump’s tax rate is low. The low rate would probably be due to loss carryforwards.
Huckabee would make a very good choice for VP IMO.

Huck’s daughter just got a high profile job in the Trump campaign.
I think Trump will just run out the clock on this..say he’s considering releasing, still working on it, etc until it’s no longer an issue. In the general, you know Hillary won’t be pushing anyone to disclose anything.
Remember Reid saying that Romney didn’t file tax returns for ten years. Just wait, the MSM will come up with all sorts of lies and distortions.

Didn’t Romney release tax returns? But then the liberals complained about his donations to his church, And complained he didn’t pay enough in taxes. Even thouggh he paid according to the law, it wasn’t enough for liberals.

Tell Mitt-Wit that you’ll be glad to release your tax returns exactly 1 hour after Obama releases ALL of his college records, including those that show he was registered as a foreign student.
