Trump: ...But something has to be done with respect to immigration. As they said during the Republican debates, I think most of them agreed, really, you have people that have been here for 20 years, they speak the language, some of them don't even speak Spanish, but they speak the language. It's very, very tough, I mean on a human basis, on a lot of other bases, uh, to be throwing people out...
Kilmeade: If you're Donald Trump, how do you play this?
Trump: Well, it's a very complicated subject and you don't just play it one way, but for people that have been here for years that have, y'know, been hard workers, have good jobs, are supporting a family, it's very, very tough to just say, by the way, y'know, 22 years, you're getting, you have to leave, get out!
...
I'm one of the world's very conservative people but I have to tell you, on a human basis, how do you throw somebody out that's lived in this country for 20 years?
...[Romney talk]...
Doocy: ...What will hundreds of thousands of work permits do to unemployment and the economy at large?
Trump: Well, obviously, you know, the concept is that, uh, you throw everybody out and everybody else gets a job, but it doesn't work that way. And a lot of the jobs that these people have, a lot of other people don't want. ... Whether it's picking grapes or doing something else, you have jobs that a lot of people aren't going to want. So I don't think...it's as complicated as that. But we really have to come up with a solution. And we also have to have a solution with compassion. We have to show some compassion. We just can't throw everybody out.

Who cares about a video from 2012?
Has he said anything at all about immigration recently?
He’s said what a lot of GOP primary voters want to hear.
Weren’t Teddy and Beck doing the soccer ball tour back then? Or was that more recent?
Since when does nobody care if a candidate changes their position before they start running for office? If nobody cared about that, the term “flip-flopping” wouldn’t exist. And being for something before you were against it wouldn’t be a concept. #JohnKerry

Trump’s position has been the same for decades.
I think Ted Cruz was killing the Gang of 8 bill and voting against it sometime around then.
Your candidate was there at the border to give them soccer balls and teddy bears. There is ZERO chance of the immigration problem being solved by Ted Cruz. There is SOME chance that the problem will be solved by Donald Trump.
It’s really pretty easy to make a decision on who to vote for.
The word “deport” appears nowhere on that page.
Did they just leave out the part of his position that hasn’t been the same for decades to avoid confusion?
Cruz has been on the record as being for a border wall and deporting illegals since his Senate campaign.
Oh yeah, it was just in 2014 that Teddy and Beck did the soccer balls and teddy bear tour. A lot more recent.
From Breitbart:
Ted Cruz Joins Glenn Beck for ‘Soccer Balls and Teddy Bears’ Event; Mike Lee Drops Out
by TONY LEE
18 Jul 2014
Sen Ted Cruz will join Glenn Beck this weekend at the U.S.-Mexico border on what Beck describes as a humanitarian mission. The Tea Party Senator will join the radio talk show host and his followers in his effort to bring soccer balls and teddy bears to illegal immigrant children. Cruz, who told Breitbart News that the event is a statement against President Barack Obamas non-enforcement of immigration laws, said he will be doling out medical supplies.
There is ZERO chance that Ted Cruz will renege on any of his campaign promises since he’s already been elected and never did.
There is SOME chance Donald Trump will renege on his campaign promises since he has no record of holding office and his changed his positions a lot as a private citizen.
That is as twisted as your Gamg of 8 logic, his TPA cloture vote, and Corker.
But by Wednesday, Cruz won’t matter anymore.
Do you think it’s morally wrong for a private citizen on his own time to give medical supplies to children?
Um, the Good Book says let him who stands take heed lest he fall.
I’ve decided to let them vent while they can, even if they swear Trump is a cannibal or whatever.
48 hours, a little more, and it’s all over for los Cubanos and their disciples. Then come the tears.
1) He has TALKED about it. He wouldn’t know how to get it done if his life depended on it. He will never do anything more than ‘talk’. When pressed by Rubio (of all people), he couldn’t even do anything else but use lawyerly BS to weasel out of committing to being against amnesty.
2) His votes for the Corker bill and TPA tell us that he sides with the globalists.
3) He has shown us that his sympathies lie with the GOPe in his de facto endorsement of Rubio after the debate the other night. He’s in bed with the GOPe and the globalists.
Teddy bears and soccer balls?
To be sure it doesn’t spell out the entire scene. It kind of makes it look like they are greeting these kids as they traipse over or get delivered by coyotes. But is that so, I don’t know. The temptation to color the truth a scandalous shade that it doesn’t even have, is immense today and many fall for it.
You’re right, but man, I’ve been watching these nutters posting nonsense for months now...it’s just getting old! lol
