I am going to go out on a limb and say Chicago’s problem is the demographic.Shhh. We're not supposed to talk about that. Or IQ. Or demographic crime rates. Or out of wedlock births. Or high school drop out rates. Or urban culture (or the lack thereof).

They have a hot 3-way race in the Mar 15 Democrat primary for States Attorney (County Prosecutor). And the woman leading in the polls has tried a whopping four cases in court. Her name is Kim Fox and she's a fake and a fraud. Not that Anita Alvarez or the other dingbat promising to seize everyone's guns again is any better.....
I'm just glad I don't have to commute into Chicago every day to go to work anymore. Loving working from home waaaaaaaaay out here in the faaaaaaaaaaaaaaar southwest suburbs.

Police said gun arrests are up by 43 percent for February compared to the same time last year, while arrests for murder are up by more than 40 percent. The dirty little secret in Chicago is that it doesn't matter how many arrests the police make for murder.
8 in 10 murders in Chicago go unsolved.
Lesson: If you want to murder someone, take them to Chicago and kill them. You've got an 80% chance of not getting caught. Those are pretty good odds.

There’s a site called Heyjackass.com that tracks Chicago Homicides. For 2016, there are 101 murder victims, 73 Black, 25 hispanic and 3 white. The city is approximately 1/3 of each race (approximately 800,000 or so of each). A white person in Chicago is no more likely to be murdered than anywhere else in the country.
