Jake Tapper Corners Sanders on the Recent Acts of Violence Shown by His Followers

During the Democratic Town Hall Sunday night, CNN moderator Jake Tapper pressed Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders on the topic of his passionate followers, some of whom have shown their strong political allegiance with displays of aggression. With many comparisons drawn between the candidacies — and followers — of Sanders and Republican frontrunner Donald Trump, the issue of aggressive political passion has become more heated than at any other point in this election.

Tapper preempted a question by noting that he was looking to play devil’s advocate on a point regarding the the differences between Sanders supporters and those of Trump. “Some of your supporters in Chicago were acting violently as well, and I have to say — the guy who rushed the stage yesterday at Donald Trump voted for you,” said Tapper. That protestor — Tommy DiMassino of Dayton, Ohio — was caught on film abrasively rushing the stage towards Trump at an event Saturday before being subdues by Secret Service agents.

“Millions of people voted for me. If I have to take responsibility for everybody who voted for me it would be a very difficult life,” the Democratic candidate responded to a laugh from the crowd.

Leftists seem not to mind if a few of their supporters heads get cracked, so long as it advances their cause.

Why are these protester not being arrested for breaking the law forbidding the disruption of political events which Obama signed in 2012?

Sanders said “people have the right to protest”. That’s despicable. He should have used that opportunity to school his supporters about the First Amendment.

Not only did Obama sign that law in 2012, Sanders and Rubio were US Senators when the law was approved in the US Senate by unanimous consent.

“rushed the stage yesterday at the Donald Trump rally”

For lefties that’s a resume bullet.

This weekend Roger Stone said he had impeccable sources who tell him these protesters are not really Bernie supporters. These ops are being run by the hillary campaign using moveon.

Crazy Uncle Bernie just made the case for Mr. Trump. You cannot be responsible for every ones actions.I do like how Mr. Trump is compared to Teddy Roosevelt and Andrew Jackson...He is the man our country needs now.

No, it doesn’t apply to Trump as far as the media and the left is concerned. That is the problem and probably what Tapper was getting at but should have forced Sanders to say it.

Sanders is confused. Socialism is all about central planning. Controlling people. If you cannot control people or take responsibility for their actions, you cannot institute central planning.

“Millions of people voted for me. If I have to take responsibility for everybody who voted for me it would be a very difficult life.”

“Millionen von Menschen für mich gestimmt haben. Wenn ich Verantwortung übernehmen müssen für alle, die für mich gestimmt haben es wäre ein sehr schwieriges Leben.”

Seems like I heard this before...

What about the act of ‘conspiracy’ listed as an offense. The organization and co-ordination of various factions, to foster targeted violence at a private gathering, fits the definition.

The assault upon Trump’s postponed rally in Chicago by domestic terrorists in tutelage, (Why was Bill Ayers near-by?) begs the need for RICO proceedings into the sources of funding and communications of the various operations which gathered to disrupt the event.
