March 21, 2016 DONALD TRUMP AND HILLARY CLINTON VIEWED UNFAVORABLY BY MAJORITY - CBS/NYT POLL By Anthony Salvanto, Fred Backus, Jennifer De Pinto, Sarah Dutton More than half of the states have held a primary or caucus, and registered voters nationwide now hold negative opinions of the political parties' current frontrunners. More than half of voters have unfavorable views of Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump; each has a net negative rating in the double-digits.

Trump 57% Negative vs. Hillary 52%

Compared to frontrunners in previous presidential primary races, Trump and Clinton's unfavorable ratings (57 percent and 52 percent respectively) are the highest in CBS News/New York Times Polls going back to 1984, when CBS began asking this question.

Perhaps, not surprisingly, most Democrats have negative views of Trump and a majority of Republicans view Clinton unfavorably. But more than half of independents have unfavorable views of both candidates. Clinton is viewed more positively by members of her own party than Trump is by his. Six in 10 Democrats have a favorable opinion of Clinton; just about half of Republicans have a favorable opinion of Trump.

Both Trump and Hillary hope that they run against each other.

Hillary’s high negatives can only be matched by Trump’s negatives. Both are cut from the progressive opportunist cloth and they are willing to destroy others in their pursuit for power.

You have to be kidding. Ted has sold us all out. Ted has gone over to the dark side. Trump is our only chance to clean up the mess in Washington.

He has to win the nomination yet and right now he has come third in 3 important swing states.
Never won a single county in 2 of them FL, VA.
Never won a county in some southern states.
Lost in nearly all demographics.
Behind in delegates.
Never won his own state with more than 50%
Only won 3 primary election states, one being his own and a neighboring state OK.

If cruz is more favorable than Trump then I would love to know who they polled.

it is over for him and now is there for the spoiler of the establishmet, we all know it.

Ever hear of the "Pox on both houses" logical fallacy?

You know how the UN and U.S. leftists blames both Israel and the Palestinians whenever Israelis gets attacked and tries to retaliate (but says nothing when the Palestinians are doing the attacking)?

Yeah, that's what the NY Times is doing now.

Both are cut from the progressive opportunist cloth and they are willing to destroy others in their pursuit for power.

Trump is literally putting his fortune, his namesake, his life, and his family lives on the line by running for President.

Does that sound like someone who is greedily lusting for power to you?

My recollection is if you could find a poll of people with positive view and people with negative view for Elvis or The Beatles (just two examples that come to mind), you'd find perhaps half the people crazy about them, half highly negative.

Everything I see WRITTEN about the Kardashians in comments around the Web is highly negative. Yet go to a tabloid, like UK Daily Mail for example, and they'll have several articles/pages devoted to each member of the family on any given day.

So I don't put a lot of stock in the "high negatives." If someone is really famous or in the case of Trump, successful, people generally are not going to be neutral, people will either love or hate.

Ever notice that?

You’re wasting your time, Steelfish

His emotionally connected followers( I don’t mean everyone who votes for Trump) are convinced the public loves him and are craving his presidency.

Anything that runs contrary to that must be a left wing conspiracy. Ever noticed, though, they never provide anything of substance to counter? Just ancedotal evidence and/ or make the source or other candidates the issue
