US coalition forces have killed Islamic State's second in command, Haji Imam, according to a top defense official. Imam, whose real name is said to be Abd ar-Rahman Mustafa al-Qaduli, was considered to be second in command for Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIS/ISIL). He is believed to go by various aliases, according to NBC.

More than likely those “leaders” are akin to “Squad Leaders” in our military. So I guess the media is reporting it as they see it.
I wonder if any of these guys are really being killed as there are too many reports with too much detail. How do they know the who and where?

No worries that another will take his place forthwith, because “ISIL is not an existential threat,” according to the great One. Meanwhile, however, defeating ‘’ISIL” remains his top priority. Huh?
