Hillary Clinton Holds Slim National Lead Over Donald Trump: Poll

Over the past couple of weeks, Donald Trump has become the presumptive Republican nominee and Hillary Clinton has continued to inch closer to the magic number of delegates she needs to lock up the Democratic contest. Clinton continues to lead Bernie Sanders in our national tracking poll (she is up by 14 points in this week's results).

Attention is now rapidly moving to the hypothetical match-up between the leading candidates with an emphasis on a Clinton and Trump contest. In this week's poll, Americans are nearly split between their choice of Trump or Clinton; her margin over Trump narrows from 5 points last week to 3 points this week to 48 percent to 45 percent.

He's chipping away at her lead faster than the MSM can stand it.

Because of the enthusiasm factor, hillary having a slim lead won’t hold up.

Wait until all of the truth comes out about Bill and Hillary’s victims. That should put Biden in the bullpen.

A Dead heat this early, amazing. Trump could pull off a landslide even with the media working overtime to support Hillary and take him down. The media spite will work to his advantage and I think in the end we will actually thank the liberal media for helping to elect him

Exactly. Everyone knows Hillary as a politician so her ability for bringing in new voters is gone.

I honestly don't know why anyone would have interest in a national presidential poll, especially this early.

1. They are rarely accurate in the end.
2. It's not a national vote; it's a collection of 50 electoral college elections.

And this poll isn’t an outlier. It’s consistent with similar polls last week.

NBC this morning spent time over and over worrying about Hillary and what she could do to overcome this Trump. Chuck Todd added his bit. Every word about Trump was negative. The worry is evident in the press.

If you believe she has a slim lead you must believe the rest of the crap served up by the news media.

The only lead she has is the vote theft lead, and that may not be enough to help her this time.

Democrats don’t like her. They are going for the fake no-name candidate in droves, the ones who aren’t crossing over to vote for Trump.

Driving around my neck of the woods, I see ten-to-one Trump and Bernie signs. No Hillary signs at all. There were never any signs for the other GOP candidates either, for reference. I always said this is a Repub year. Any Repub could beat her... but if it was Trump, it would be a blow-out. Its Trump, and its going to be a blow-out. Except for the vote-stealing thing, but I don’t think Trump is going to lay down for that.

But emphasis should be on my second point: the junk food media could claim Hillary is up big (which we would all doubt) and, if correct, it still wouldn’t matter. The states she wins might be very close, while the states Trump wins may be blowouts. It’s all about the electoral votes, as ManBearPig Al Gore learned the hard way. And my understanding is that it (no surprise) will come down to Colorado, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Virginia, North Carolina and Florida.

The media says the election will go negative and right now it's only the media that is going negative, about Trump - too funny. Do they ever look in the mirror?

I see this more like 1980 is my point. History can and does repeat.

Folks.....today should be an interesting day....it could be an historic one...too!!! The voters in the state of Kentucky & Oregon have the fate of the Democrat POTUS nominee in their hands. I guess the voters in Oregon have already rendered their position, as they vote only by mail, and their ballots probably have already been counted. The Oregon votes will be released at 8:00 PM PDT, this evening.

However, the voting in Kentucky has just got underway. Both these states can play a major role in this coming POTUS election by voting against Hillary Clinton, and, for Bernie Sanders. If Ms. Clinton wins both states, the Bernie Sanders game is over....but, if Mr. Sanders wins one of these two states, or, better yet, both of them, Hillary Clinton is in serious trouble, regardless of her “Rigged” lead, insured by the criminal Democrat Party!!!

So.....voters in Kentucky....cast your vote today in the Democrat Party POTUS Primary election for Bernie Sanders.....and send Clinton to the obscurity cesspool, where she rightfully belongs!!!

They probably had to resort to skewing the poll questions in order to favor Hillary. If a three point lead is all Hillary can muster in mid-May she’s in deep trouble.
