Tuesday, June 7th primaries
California – 546 delegates
Montana – 27 delegates
New Jersey – 142 delegates
New Mexico – 43 delegates
South Dakota – 25 delegates
North Dakota – D Caucus – 25 D delegates
There was a line about 15 people long at the Tijeras City Hall this AM. Most unusual, never seen one before. This primary will likely be a record setter for NM. Based on the number of Dem votes received in early voting (much more than Reps), I think the Bernie folks are going to take that race.

I feel so bad for your mom. Trump, indeed, has made this election truly meaningful and has inspired countless people.
He has even told stories of meeting people who said how they had never voted before. Moreover, he has compelled people like me (a 56-yr-old lifelong democrat) to switch parties!!
Trump’s rare courage and charisma are extraordinary—and he represents our last hope to MAGA!!
Again, I am so dismayed to learn that your mom won’t have her chance to vote today. Please let her know FReepers like me are thinking about her and will pray that she will have no difficulty voting for our next POTUS in November!!!

The early voting ballot option has its caveats, and on is that it is only available for a window of time, but that window closes well before primary day.
For the powers in charge, democracy is a dread. The vote is a pain in the b$#!
This is why no one ever knows when or where their party precinct meetings are, or their county conventions, therefore they are nicely eliminated from attending state conventions, which assures that only the insiders and the diligent get to the party national convention.
Just sayin’. This is how the Establishment maintains its lock on power. It will never change until we quit mowing the lawn, get off the couch and aggressively participate starting at the local steps and in enough numbers to make a difference.

I was away from the computer/radio/TV. What a beast — Hillary and media.
There wasn’t a line at “my”* polling place but it was filled. When I got my ballot, I noticed that there was a line for the Dem voting booths. It was lunch time, and the mix of voters there was seniors who lived at the polling location as well as people who looked like they were there on lunch break.
It was a joy to mark that little spot by Donald J. Trump’s name. Proud to have done it.
* my registry at my new address didn’t work, and I too felt disenfranchised until I saw I was still on the books at my old polling place, so I crossed the county today to cast that vote.

I went in to the precinct and voted and I told the workers there what happened. I admit I was kinda’ ready to go off. My mom has voted in every election for 55+ years and was fairly upset about missing out.
Well, I’m happy to report that the precinct had assisted curbside voting in place so I was able to take Mom there and she voted from the car. Mission accomplished!
Hooray, happy ending for a change.

John King at the CNN Magic Wall just stated that for Bernie Sanders to pass Hillary, he’d have to win 71% of the remaining delegates at stake tonight. Unrealistic in that its not gonna happen.
He may pull off some upsets tonight but if they do happen, they won’t get The Bern where he would like to be.
