Donald J. Trump announced the formation of the Israel Advisory Committee to analyze U.S. policy toward the State of Israel, enhance the unbreakable bond between the countries, ensure Israel’s military superiority within the region and research alternative solutions to the Israeli/Palestinian discord.
Previously tapped to work with Trump was CO-Chairman of the Israel Advisory Committee, Jason Greenblatt, Esq., an Executive Vice President and Chief Legal Officer of The Trump Organization.
Today, it was announced that Trump appointed another Orthodox Jew, Dr. Richard H. Roberts, M.D., Ph.D. as the Vice Chair of the Israel Advisory Committee. Dr. Roberts stated: “It is a great privilege to be asked to join this committee which, among other things, intends to analyze the status quo, seeking input from all parties on potential new solutions to seemingly intractable problems, and to recommend solutions to Mr. Trump.”
Roberts is married with six children and lives in Lakewood, New Jersey. He credits the principles of Orthodox Judaism as helping him to be a success and is one of the largest philanthropists to the orthodox community in Lakewood
Roberts is a top donor to Republican politicians including Senator Lindsey Graham of South Carolina, Governor Scott Walker of Wisconsin,and Rand Paul. In 2010, he gave $750,000 to the campaign of Mitt Romney. In 2012, Roberts contributed $1 million to a super PAC that supported U.S. Representative Allen West.

Jews who are the most serious and vocal about preserving/restoring Israel are also the most religious ones, whether in their ancestral faith or whether having jumped the fence of tradition into Christianity.
This is not going to complete, however, without the grace and blessing of God. And the challenges are mind boggling at a mortal level. The biblical size of Israel represents an area that right now is mostly Islamic countries. That is going to have to be conquered (or abandoned by the opposition), obviously.
I hope Trump leaves much room for the Lord to make America greater even than it had been.

It’s refreshing to see that Trump isn’t mired in all the tradition of his formal church affiliation, as the PCUSA has gotten quite chilly towards Israel in recent times. He seems to have the ability to spiritually think independently, which looks like the Lord knocking on the door of his heart and the knock being answered.

I don’t know him personally, but by reputation in the Orthodox community. He’s a remarkable philanthropist. One of his specialties is to throw a major carnival for the entire town during the Sukkos and Passover holidays. Free to everyone.
Yes, Dr. Roberts has supported many Republicans, including Pence. Some of them may have eventually turned out to be disappointments, but Roberts has helped so many. He also helped Scott Walker fight the recall attempts.
Now that Dr. Roberts is a part of the Trump team, there is really very little for me and my Zionists4Trump to say to Trump. I know that anything I would say about Israel, “refugees”, terrorism, etc., Dr. Roberts will already have said as an advisor.
