Donald Trump holds a modest lead over Hillary Clinton in Nevada, according to a new KTNV-TV 13 Action News/Rasmussen Reports poll.

The poll of 750 likely voters shows the Republican presidential candidate leading Clinton by 43 to 38 percent in Nevada, with eight percent supporting Libertarian Party candidate Gary Johnson.

The KTNV-TV 13 Action News/Rasmussen Reports also reports Republican Senate candidate Joe Heck with a nine point lead over his Democratic opponent, Catherine Cortez Masto.

The poll was conducted by Rasmussen Reports between July 22 and 24, immediately following the Republican National Convention in Cleveland, Ohio. Rasmussen historically has a Republican bias, according to a FiveThirtyEight ranking of polling groups.

Living in Reno I am seeing a few more Trump signs on cars, even my first yard sign last weekend. I get almost 100% positive expressions and comments for the Trump sticker on my car as well. Lots of Sander’s signage and absolutely none for Clinton. Only person I’ve met to talked with supporting Clinton is, surprisingly, a gun range safety officer at an indoor range I use. Yep.

If Her Thighness had a 5 point lead over Trump, I wonder if ABC would call that a modest lead, more likely a commanding lead or something of the sort.

Every election cycle, at least one Republican steps into that rhetorical bucket of Abortion and Birth Control and gets so tangled up they have to leave the race. I’m hoping it won’t be Pence that pays the price. He needs to just smile and wave at this point. Let Donald do the talking.

Watch out for Hillary’s post-convention bump, it’s going to be a doozy.

Stupid remark that will make social issue central and distract from our real issues this year. Roe v. Wade is not an election issue this year. It is a losing national campaign issue. Stupid, stupid, stupid.

“Watch out for Hillary’s post-convention bump”

Just watched some of the “highlights” of her speech...she was terrible, like a wooden Indian, no heart, soul or passion. Trump on the other hand, really did have a great speech. Not only did he kill it on expectation, he flat out killed it!

Trump, who is new to this, gave a better speech times 10 than a 30 year career hack. The end of Trump’s speech was the best I have heard, he connected with Americans.

The LA times headline was misleading, though Pense set himself up for it. In the article he is quoted as saying this: ““I’m pro-life and I don’t apologize for it,” he said during a town hall meeting here. “We’ll see Roe vs. Wade consigned to the ash heap of history where it belongs.”. That sounds more like a long term prediction than a statement about Trump’s intent.

The times connects the prediction to Trump with the following: “While we’re choosing a president for the next four years, this next president will make decisions that will impact our Supreme Court for the next 40,” he said. “… Go tell your neighbors and your friends, for the sake of the rule of law, for the sake of sanctity of life, for the sake of our 2nd Amendment, for the sake of all our other God-given liberties, we must insure the next president appointing justices to the Supreme Court is Donald Trump.”

No, he didn’t. But you can wring your hands about it 24/7 if you’d like.

Vote Trump 2016
