Newt: Trump ISIS Speech ‘Historic’ — ‘Most Important Foreign Policy Speech Since Ronald Reagan’
Breitbart ^ | 15 Aug 2016 | Jeff Poor

Posted on 08/15/2016 11:00:17 PM PDT by detective

Monday on Fox News Channel’s “Hannity,” former House Speaker Newt Gingrich offered a glowing review of Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump’s speech in Youngstown, OH earlier in the day on how he would handle the threat of ISIS.

According to Gingrich, it was the most important foreign policy speech dating back to President Ronald Reagan.

Two things:

1. The speech was great. Riveting. Easy for non-wonks to understand. Everyone should hear it! But everyone won’t hear it; the MSM will see to that. I’m hoping clips from that speech will cover the airwaves once Labor Day is over and campaigning begins in earnest.

2. I wasn’t thrilled with him saying he’d set up a task force / committee / whatever regarding Islam — CONSISTING OF MUSLIMS. Task forces typically just waste time, come to watered-down conclusions, with few if any results. When I hear “task force”, I think, “razzle-dazzle”. We don’t need a task force; we already know more than we ever wanted to about Islam.

Besides, if the Muslim task force members truly are faithful in their religion, they WILL lie. Under taqiyya they absolutely are allowed/supposed to lie if it furthers their cause.

“Extreme vetting” sounds promising but, again... taqiyya. They WILL lie.

Just my two cents, FWIW...

NYT Headkines and topic for the entire news cycle this week “ Trump should drop out because he can’t handle the presidency”

While Trump has spoken 2-3 speeches a day to 100,000 this month and Hillary takes off 7 of the last 14 days after speaking to hundreds

Yes.

All this doom and gloom abut Trump being behind in the polls and on a losing path is nonsense.

Really, just look at the crowds. . .compare crowd sizes.

Trump tens of thousands. . .hitlery. . .a couple dozen, but yet the media (and the establishment republicans) all say Trump is losing.

Crowd sizes are a reflection of support and motivation. . .and those are critical to voter turn-out and victory.

The media and establishment republicans are talking down Trump to de-motivate Trump supporters and it ain’t working.

there is more to it. the gal is a snake and one of those that went around trashing Sara Palin when she figured out that Palin was a good scapegoat for her dad not wining the 2008 election. she was originally given her radio show to support bush in the presidential election. in my opinion she is a pond of the bush and Romney group ad there never trump group.

?Everyone should hear it! But everyone won’t hear it; the MSM will see to that.”

It is obvious to any thinking person that the MSM is totally biased and completely useless as a news source any longer. Indeed, the MSM are purveyors of outright lies fabricated with malicious intent to shield a corrupt and tyrannical government. The internet has already superceded the MSM as the primary delivery mechanism for anything that matters to people anymore as far as news and information is concerned. Even little old ladies use the internet now to keep up with things, like their sewing circles and garden clubs. Trumps speeches are readily available all over the world wide web to stream and download to your heart’s content. Blogs are used to follow politics today, rather than newspapers and newscasts. Just because the MSM doesn’t post something does not mean that people aren’t aware of what happening. This election will break down all of the barriers that have put the power in the hands of the elitists of the UniParty for so many years. The record crowds that Trump consistently attracts where-ever he goes shows that the Monster vote will very likely deliver a revolutionary outcome to this election. People will remember for all of their lives what happened during the election of 2016.

Why are you even bothering to listen to any of these talking heads. Not CNN, MSNBC, NBC, ABC or FNC are going to determine this year’s election. It’s all going to come down to the debates as well as any “late breaking news”.

Look on the bright side. More than half of all the muslims in the world are female or homosexual. They have no voice in establishment Islam. If they had, they'd have voices of moderation.

And moderation is about the best one can hope for, given there are nearly two billion people in the muslim world.

Trump is proposing a seed, a very tiny thing, and yet we know what seeds can do with a little help.

The task force he envisions would likely get a whole lot of help.

I was actually listening to Megan McCain on the radio. they played a portion of Trumps speech and then proceeded to talk about how it showed little understanding of the problems. all it proved to me is that she is an out right propagandist in the way joseph Gerbils was in the 1930s Germany. she plays the game of saying she cant vote for trump or Hillary but if you listen to her she slyly giving excuse for Hillary while saying she does not support Hillary because of her politics.

You're right, John McCain's daughter is on-the-air to propagandize. She just wants to push the Republican Party more left, but she promotes Democratic talking points every day. She's on during my drive-time, but especially after the last month or so (she jumped on the "Trump promoted Hillary's assassination line"), I'm done with her. No more listening to my favorite local radio station during her show. Period. Meghan McCain SUCKS!

F McLame! i think the things he has done to damage the country while he has been in office such as his sitdown with Al Baghdadi more than offset his military service. It may be just me but I despise the old coot.

Explains why the MSM downplayed it if they mentioned it at all, including FOX. Every time I checked in with Fox, they were trashing the speech. Even had Allen West on criticizing it. It’s disgusting what’s happened to Fox. I had to turn it off.

Excellent speech. But CNN will find something to attack even if they have to fabricated it. Incredibly how many lies have been spread on CNN - no wonder it dropped in ratings.

Is it me or is Breitbart’s website a pain in the ass most times to open up? Doesn’t matter what PC I’m using or where, the site is slow loading and sometimes loads half way.

BTW, AWESOME plan and speech by Trump.
