Wonder if Trump will get a bounce from his visit to Mexico. I could see Hispanics thinking this is a good move, but some of his backers might see this as Trump selling out.

Second day that Trump is ahead, and the trend since Aug 11 has been a Trump rise.

(I’m going to bed in two seconds, but I’ll throw this out there....)

While I realize that HRC is more unpopular the more she is “out there,” it seems just nuts to me that her campaign is willing to give up so much time and real estate to DJT.

The entire day today is going to be all Trump, all the time, and all we have out of her is the video over at Gateway Pundit where it looks like she needs a walker!

Nobody supporting Trump today is going to shift to Crooked Hillary.

Donald Trump is not going to lose support no matter what he does. Those that are with him today will crawl over broken glass in November to vote for him.

So for the next ten weeks, the Trump campaign will be broadening the base and going after traditional Democrat strongholds. For Crooked Hillary, she does have a lot to lose.

By going, he looks more presidential. Countries are going to have disagreements. T is showing he is willing to talk it through. It isn't personal. He isn't some wild and crazy guy who just shoots from the hip.

Hill's reaction is the same old same old. We talk all the time ( which isn't true ) dodges the very real issue and simply fundraise. She is going to try to buy the presidency....by doing what she does best....ask for other people's money.

The trend is definitely our friend. Here is the data from August 13, a low point for Trump to the current (30 August) poll. An 8.1 point turn around in 2 weeks is pretty impressive.

We have to be realistic.

Trump has been out there every day, communicating his policies and vision, and acting outright presidential when natural disasters have hit.

In contrast, Hillary has not been campaigning. Although she has been running a massive ad campaign, her ads focus on Trump. I get the idea that she is trying to solicit votes on the basis that she is whining about Trump’s manliness. She apparently has no policies to advance. She has said that she plans to hand the economy over to Bill, and gives no reason to vote for her. Her refusal to go out in public lately only fuels speculation about her ill health, and the handful of videos showing her coughing for minutes at a time, shuffling like someone twenty years older, having an apparent seizure, and lapsing into moments of complete confusion do nothing to dispel the rumors.

In short, Hillary has the mindless liberal vote in the bag, and is not likely to gain more while Trump continues to increase his numbers.

The liberal media headline will read, “Hillary catapultes to 41.9% in the polls showing her biggest surge yet”

Yup. Individual polls are pretty useless, but over weeks, they're OK for trending.

I think that Hitlery is trying to run out the clock. She hadn’t planned on having to run against Bernie and it would appear that this was pretty exhausting for her. She then had to turn around and start running a second campaign, supposedly more intense, against The Donald. She just doesn’t have the strength.

I think she is planning on popping up when she can, giving a speech that focuses on Trump, trying to increase his negatives. She is relying on the media arm of the democrat party to pull her over the finish line by covering for her and trashing Trump. She’s tired, and very stressed by what’s been exposed and what she knows could possible come out (Wiki).

I’d be surprised to even see her make the first debate, unless she’s in hiding practicing for it day after day.

some of his backers might see this as Trump selling out.

Trump is not going there to "sell-out". . .It's a great move. . .it looks Presidential, especially while the H-beast remains in seclusion.

It also throws a wrench in the "Trump hates Mexicans" media-meme. . .but it does start a new one, the aforementioned "Trump is selling-out" meme. . .but rest assured, that will fail as well.

Here's what everyone must understand about Trump: he is NOT a politician, he IS a master salesman. . .and that's good for America. A politician wants to be liked, first. A master salesman wants to make a sale and deals from a position of strength.

Politicians are compelled by the media to lose their negotiating edge by "dropping their pants" to please the media, i.e. "the wall won't work," "we can't ask 11 million people to leave," etc. Inevitably, these politicians, in a position of weakness, make deal after deal that are nothing more than capitulations. . .they win. .we lose.

So, Trump will deal, Trump will negotiate. . .however, he will only do so from a position of strength because all good salespeople understand that a "sale" is an exchange of assets that benefit both sides. The conservative purists, like Mark Levin, et al don't understand the difference between what Trump does and what a Kasich or Bush would do. . or as RINOs for the last 50 years have been doing: LOSING.

Trump doesn't "sell-out," but he does "sell."

The liberal media headline will read

....I disagree (respectfully). I'll go with....

"Hillary prepares for ascent to Oval Office while Trump continues to flounder."

Listening to the radio this morning on my commute, the talking head was yapping about DJT headed to Mexico today. "This visit gives him the opportunity to prove that he won't make a complete mess of foreign relations, and may help his sputtering campaign.".

That's close to word for word. Not kidding. No bias there. Journalism in America has become an embarrassment.

> Wonder if Trump will get a bounce from his visit to Mexico.

It depends on if Nieto is meeting in good faith. It’s possible he already knows he’ll come out of the meeting and say “Trump is even worse than I thought. No world leader can work with him” no matter how the meeting goes.

Trump needs to keep the pressure on

He slowly needs to take her out of the picture. She is in her tortoise shell, ignoring all attacks.

He needs to appear as the President-elect in transition to lead. DJT can begin to do some things that demonstrate that is is Action and more then talk. Then voters will see DJT doing things that HRC would never do.

As Hank Stram would say, “just matriculate the ball down the field boy” Every little bit matters and then we have a breakthrough.

Trump is trending upward in every poll. He needs to keep acting presidential between now and November.

The hiring of Kelly Anne Conway might be the most important hire in his career. She keeps him on message and provides a good female voice in his favor.
