I wonder if the rumors - of a new Ford Ranger pick up and Ford Bronco - are true. Trucks and big cars are profitable... Now, if Ford come out with a Crown Vic rear wheel drive car, it will be profitable.

I love cars... Antique cars (50s,60s 70s) are cool...

"looks like hell."

I've seen them running around the streets here in MI ( factory vehicles ) even though they are not for this market yet, and I have to tell you it is a damn good looking truck. Their was one in a parking lot of a sports facility and one worker their I know brought it to my attention that he saw it in the lot, went and looked at it, and really liked it as a former Ranger owner.

The Ford Ranger is still made...however not sold in the USA and Canada...

Might be, if rumors are true, a 2018 model will be sold in USA/Canada...

Perot’s giant sucking sound still rumbling on?

Interestingly, I was just thinking about this yesterday: Trump is a figurative 'Perot' .. just 24 years later and in far better position to garner more than 19% of the vote, having secured the nomination of a major party instead of running as an 'independent 3rd party' candidate.

Both men have similar backgrounds and appeal to the 'disgusted with government' constituency. (although Trump appeals to "The Deplorables™" .... heheeheee :)

Do not allow their products to be exported to the US. Simple.

The truth is, NO automaker can make small cars cheaply in the US. Chrysler is ending production of the Dodge Dart here. And no one is buying small cars, but they are required to make them because of the CAFE standards. Get rid of the CAFE standards and they don’t need to build these cars.

No, the truth is they want to pay their workers pennies an hour. To make more profit.

Well you’re just on a little posting spree, eh?

What is it? Stoned on drugs or just drunk again?

Or are you just riddled with guilt over all the lies you’ve told about your “military record?”

You insult FreeRepublic and every patriot and veteran who posts here with the stench of your presence.

Did you know " i have military service related injury related to the bombing in lebanon in 1983...and susequent days of being entombed in a collapsed building..." is a complete lie?
And laughably easy to prove to be a false claim?

Trump could easily win a lot of support by capitalizing on Americans who’ve lost their jobs and homes and retirement to entire industries being shipped overseas. That and we are THE biggest consumer market on the planet, not to mention the most powerful military even after 20 years of Democratic sabotage. It darn well should be a privilege to sell to us instead of our nation being hobbled and a sucker economy.

It would also defuse a big ticking bomb. A lot of people are getting pi$$ed off at being ‘rightsized’, outsourced, and generally screwed over by big business who they can’t really influence except on rare occasions. There are only two endgames: they support socialism as a massive payback or they get behind someone who turns the tables on what capitalism we have left. If he doesn’t get the second option going I guarantee the first will happen.
