Chinese policy-makers are in talks about how to remove Kim Jong-un as leader of North Korea as new satellite images reveal preparations are underway for a sixth nuclear test.
They are also discussing supporting surgical strikes on the rogue state, said the China initiative director of Columbia University's School of International and Public Affairs.
According to the Korea Times, Professor Zhe Sun told a security forum in Washington that the Chinese were debating how best to deal with the North Korean leader.
'Some Chinese scholars and policy makers began to talk about supporting "surgical strikes" and "decapitation" by the U.S. and South Korea as one policy option,' he said.

Tungil!
Good news if true.
China and South Korea are both trying to figure out how to solve the “North Korea Problem”.
The problem is that any solution would likely involve both countries getting flooded with refugees, which neither wants.
Hmm, I'm all in favor of decapitation, but drawing and quartering has its charms as well...
China’s little rabid chihuahua is starting to chew on the wrong shoes. It was fun until their technology crept out of the 50’s.
they must have discovered the radiation in the Yalu.
What irks me is that Madeline was wining and dining with Kim the former....while NK was building nukes...
I think that’s a good guess.
However, that would mean that the rest of the world would be screaming at the USA and S.Korea for doing such a thing.
While, China looks like they’re not involved.
NO THANKS.
Invite him to a luau, and he never returns..................
That would be the perfect time, as then his whereabouts will not be hard to discover.
While privately thanking us in diplomatic channels...............
Kabuki.
Kim Il Sung III does a good job of keeping the USA and SK worried and off balance. We want to spend tens of billions in a missile defence against NK.
But the chinese oppose that as well, as it would contribute to “proliferation”. In order to spend our billions building a dedicated missile defence against NK, we will have to give the chinks something in return.
If the chinese were serious about this they would do it, not leak it to the DM.
I’m one of those “tinfoil hat”, geopolitical, “what if” freaks who looks at the map and asks, “what would I do if I were (fill in country here)?
Based on existing global events and America’s weakness out of Washington, if I were China I would invade North Korea and annex it. This would send a sea of humanity over the border to South Korea, destabilizing that area and at the same time I would go to the UN and say that we are getting rid of North Korea’s nukes as a show of humanity.
This might piss off the US, Japan, South Korea and other regional allies, but what are they going to do about it? America very well wouldn’t declare war on China for getting rid of an authoritarian regime that had nukes. And with the globalization forces as it is, there wouldn’t be a trade war.
In addition, if I were China and I did this, I would on day one, open relations with South Korea for trade, undermining US globalist interests in the region.
For China, this is an easy win.
Thoughts?
Can’t we just drone him?
Show him a weapons test and have him be the target
And Little Kim will attach the US because .....
Huzzah.
Let the PRC have a fight with the crazy clown boy that runs North Korea.
Re: “refugees” - forget about that. It is NOT a concern of China. its merely a US media-bubble talking point. China can have 500,000 troops on the border (if they don’t already) and have it sealed tight within days. They have no fear or compunction about doing so. What they DO fear is chaos they can’t manage, and US/ Japan meddling - so they will absolutely manage it.
They won’t have any reporters, they don’t have asinine western-style SJW’s around, and above all - the Chinese people will 100% support their regime to seal the borders in time of crisis.
It’s a win-win. Trump pulls us out of the south and China gives the south to the north. We give the south china sea to the chicoms. Done deal.
